We are looking for an individual with a proven record of success of growing the corporate industry market for a hotel(s). We are seeking a confident self-starter with an assertive selling style who will bring an entrepreneurial flair to our team.This individual will call on all levels of corporate accounts, from biotech and pharma startups to major corporations that are all based in Cambridge.This person will oversee the corporate business travel market for our Hotel and will be fully responsible for the marketing strategies for this segment. Must have corporate travel industry experience (ideally in the Boston/Cambridge market), within an upscale/luxury hotel environment and must demonstrate a sound base of current accounts. 


This position requires excellent business communication and negotiation skills and the ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.

Job Description


Develop a sales strategy and plan by analyzing historical, current and future hotel/market trends to capture new accounts and further develop existing ones.

Solicitation of new business and ensuring repeat business from many volume accounts and nurturing of relationships will be critical to the success of this position. 

Demonstrate your professional presentation skills at Industry Trade Shows, Sales calls and Networking functions.

Maintain “top of mind” awareness with key account contacts, sales calls, networking, entertainment, etc.

Additional Job Description


Significant local and regional travel expected, primarily in the Northeast region.

Meet monthly and quarterly booking goals, as indicated by the Annual Business Plan and Budget.

Communicate all account information to the appropriate departments via hotel database/systems.

Execute additional projects as assigned by the Director of Sales & Marketing and the Director of Revenue Management.

Awareness of and membership in corporate travel related organizations such as GBTA, ACTE and any others applicable to your success.Will also need to have working knowledge of the RFP process, Consortia and business travel related tools.
