You can identify and implement ways to harden systems and reduce their attack surface. We’re looking for an architect who can create solutions for a civil government agency that will stand up to even the most advanced cyber threats.
As a lead solutions architect on our project, you’ll operate as a cyber security subject matter expert for a team performing advanced security fusion center services. You’ll coordinate work with executive level stakeholders, security engineers, and operational staff to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate your customer’s IT needs and future goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions. We need to come up with the best solution, so you’ll advise on new techniques, break free from the legacy model, and go where the industry is going. You’ll lead the team through a critical approach to network design, providing alternatives and customizing solutions to maintain a balance of security and business needs. This is a chance to lead a team of experts to make a difference in the security of financial management services. You’ll lead efforts to help customers overcome their most difficult challenges by integrating secure practices like security operations service transformation, business process reengineering, and continual enhancement of security fusion center processes, solutions, and tools. You’ll be able to broaden your skillset into areas like advanced security monitoring and detection, incident response, threat intelligence, data enrichment, security solutions engineering, and vulnerability management while building peace of mind in a critical infrastructure. As a technical leader, you’ll identify new opportunities to use cybersecurity solutions to help your customers meet their toughest challenges. 10+ years of experience with technical delivery of cyber security services and architecting and designing solutions in the domains of security operations, incident response, threat and vulnerability management, security engineering, and governance and policy
Experience with working in a security operations center environment and security operations center processes and workflows
Experience with security tools and solutions for a variety of usages, including enterprise log management, threat intel management, data integration, correlation, and enrichment, vulnerability assessment, and email, network, mobile, cloud, application, and web security, and sample security tools and solutions such as Splunk, BigFix, McAfee ePO, Tripwire, SolarWinds, FireEye suite, Cisco ISE/HCS, F5, Symantec DLP, Crowdstrike EDR, Forescout, Tenable, HP WebInspect, Qualys, Wireshark, EnCase, ServiceNow, Flashpoint, Intel471, or Recorded Future
Experience with developing and optimizing security operations policies, processes, and procedures and engaging cross-functional stakeholders on related efforts
Experience in security tool deployment and configuration and integration with other security tools, platforms, and IT systems
Experience with addressing client needs by aligning solutions and implementing innovative approaches to security operations
Ability to obtain a security clearance
BA or BS degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics
Active IAT Level III certification
Nice If You Have:
Experience with all-source enterprise security threats, including physical, personnel, financial, or natural disaster and synthesizing applicable data and alerts
Knowledge of federal civilian client environments and delivering cyber security services to federal or commercial financial services clients
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate technical subject matter to both technical and non-technical audiences at all seniority levels to foster broad understanding of ongoing initiatives
Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
