Job Description


Publicis Sapient is investing in the growth of its Salesforce Practice and to help us achieve this we’re hiring for a Senior Account Director to expand our client portfolio.


As a Senior Account Director for the Salesforce practice, you’ll build strong, trusted relationships with clients around the implementation of Salesforce.com. You’ll also act as the primary liaison with Publicis Sapient Client Executives, Publicis Sapient Industry Leaders, Salesforce key contacts and project sponsors.


You’ll effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels to quickly assess their business needs, translating these needs into Salesforce solutions, and collaborate with internal partners to accurately scope and estimate implementation effort.


Responsibilities:



  • Actively pursue and hunt for new business opportunities in accounts, meeting and exceeding sales targets

  • Partner with Publicis Sapient Industry teams and other Subject Matter Experts to create joint propositions that are vertically focused

  • Network within the industry, market, and accounts to bring new client opportunities to the delivery team

  •  Identify/develop key partner strategies for specific customers and market segments

  • Coordinate & manage communication and deal-flow with a variety of internal and external stakeholders

  • Quickly grasp client business and technical requirements fitting Salesforce solutions around those specific needs

  • Manage and support phases of the business development cycle to successful close (including proposal development, implementation estimating, scope construction, and client presentations)

  • Proactively approach the market segment through active leadership in industry and community organizations

  • Actively engage on social media, especially LinkedIn

  • Add industry specific and technology solution expertise to the sales process

  • Maintain and nurture client relationships to ensure additional business


Qualifications



  • Proven track record of face-to-face Sales and Client Engagement of Salesforce consulting and professional services offerings. This is likely to have been gained with a Salesforce distributor or through consultative business development within the Salesforce practice of a management consultancy.

  • Solution based and consultative Salesforce.com sales experience that demonstrates a proven understanding of solving client needs with Salesforce solutions.

  • Strong key account management skills and experience, in addition to business development experience, in order to consultatively develop further solutions for clients to meet future strategies.

  • Ability to and experience of displaying how the Salesforce Platform Model brings value to customers and how the model can be sold in the context of the industry.

  • Project definition and delivery knowledge, and experience of managing external client projects as a trusted advisor and consultant.

  • RFP response management experience.

  • Knowledge of enterprise systems - CRM, SFA, and ERP

  • Stakeholder management and collaboration skills and experience are required in order to build strong relationships with customer buying centres and internally across Publicis Sapient’s capabilities.

  • Analytical approach to identifying business challenges; visionary and creative approach towards their solutions.

  • Demonstrates a deep understanding of consultancy - how services are typically sold and delivered.

  • Able to justify an approach, phasing, solution design, trade off rationalization to key stakeholders across customers, Salesforce and PS

  • Be able to understand and communicate with industry specialists in the industry’s language

  • Openness to travel and work at client site when necessary

  • System implementation experience, with understanding of Agile approach a big plus
