About this role:


We are looking for a Senior Corporate Strategy Manager.In this role, you will contribute to the development and execution of key corporate strategy growth initiatives. This individual will help evaluate future growth opportunities, create strategic concepts and frameworks and articulate findings, insights, and recommendations aligned to iRhythm’s mission and vision. You will be expected to work on projects that can range from new product and business model innovation to new market and geographic expansion discovery to M&A and partnership diligences.


The Corporate Strategy team works closely with iRhythm’s top executives and cross-functional partners to ensure that the company stays on its fast growth trajectory.


Key Responsibilities:


• Perform competitive analyses, market evaluations and coordinate diligence efforts for key strategic projects and corporate growth initiatives.Draw insights, assess implications for the company and present findings and recommendations as appropriate


• Identify, define, and articulate industry, market, and emerging trends and how they may affect iRhythm’s business


• Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of new market/growth opportunities and make recommendations to leadership on key strategic and tactical decisions


• Create financial models and strategic frameworks to evaluate value creation and rationale for targeting new business


• Craft business cases for new business opportunities that are aligned with the goals of functional partners (for example, Commercial, R&D)


•Support new business development initiatives including survey landscape, identify potential partners and deals, proactive outreach and conduct diligence


• Evaluate white space opportunities for possible expansion


• Help manage specific corporate strategy initiatives across the company, and facilitate cross-functional projects


• Build strong cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders, leadership teams and internal departments to carry out key projects and work collaboratively to drive successful completion of tactical and strategic initiatives;


• Support strategy development across iRhythm’s business functions by working collaboratively cross-functionally


• Provide project management support, and objective analysis and decision support on ‘special projects’ as necessary


• Act as liaison for relevant strategic initiatives, and help develop and track implementation plans to ensure the right level of focus and discipline


• Work on special projects to evolve and enhance the Corporate Strategy function and processes


About you:


• Bachelors degree required; Masters degree in business, life sciences, or related field preferred


• 5+ years of relevant professional experience, including broad-based experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy and market/financial analysis; top-tier management consulting or investment banking firm experience preferred


•Excellent critical thinking, project management, analytical, communication, presentation skills


• Effective listener and communicator, able to identify key concepts and organize information across a broad range of topics, convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in materials


• Broad functional experience in the fundamentals of market research, financial modeling and value proposition creation


• Organized and methodical, with a structured, data-driven approach to problem solving


• Experienced, hands-on project manager adept at establishing processes, creatively solving problems, facilitating cross functional teams, and managing through significant ambiguity and complexity


• Highly motivated, resourceful, self-directed, team player with a “results-driven’ mindset and who demonstrates agility to manage and prioritize multiple projects and initiatives


• Not afraid to ‘roll your sleeves up’ and work with details as well as the big picture


• Relevant life science industry experience preferred, but not required
