Senior/Executive Director, Global Marketing Cell Therapy Customer Experience 

The Senior/ Executive Director, Global Marketing Cell Therapy Customer Experience will play a key role on the global marketing cell therapy team.This role will have primary responsibilities for enhancing Kite’s position as the leader in cell therapy globally by ensuring that the global customer experience is optimized. The customer experience lead will focus on optimizing the pathway from referral to long term follow up through innovative solutions for customers.A key focus for this role will be the optimization of the customer experience with the Kite Konnect platform.This role will work in close collaboration with the global marketing cell therapy franchise and brand leads and global cross functional and project teams to ensure that our brands are partnered with an optimal Kite cell therapy experience.

Key Responsibilities

Develop the global cell therapy customer experience strategic plan in partnership andalignment with a broad global cross functional team

In close partnership with cross functional partners, design, develop and globally implement the next generation Kite Konnect platform to provide customers with an enhanced user experience

Working in close collaboration with cross functional partners, optimize the ongoing site qualification process for Kite current and future therapies; develop template and toolkits to support local site qualification

Actively collaborate with CAR T stakeholders and cross functional partners to identify and assess the optimal programs, services and innovation projects to continue to enhance Kite leadership in cell therapy;work with global cross functional partners to develop implementation plans for key projects

Establish strong partnerships with Supply Chain,Quality, Tech Ops, IT and Manufacturing and ensure optimal communication of customer feedback to ensure aligned prioritization of industry leading standards and programs

Lead the global commercial operations team, with representation from core countriesto ensure global optimal global customer experience of Kite brands

Ensure ongoing insights into the competitive and development landscape to identify leadership opportunities and threats


The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience leading teams of marketing professionals at specialty-focused pharmaceutical or biotechnology companies, with significant experience in Hematology.Prior experience in cell therapy is a plus.  

The ideal candidate will possess experience working at both a global and affiliate/ local marketing level, achieving success with both long term strategic development and short term tactical implementation.

The ideal candidate will also have experience with digital commercial / customer platforms.

Experience leading the design and implementation of large, transformational business initiatives within global markets will be considered a strong benefit.

Candidates must have an undergraduate degree in marketing or related fields with a post-graduate degree preferred.Additional qualifications include:

Demonstrated ability to think strategically and align and engage both internal and external stakeholders to drive performance

Experience in delivering complex messages to various internal and external customers with a track record of effective and influential presentations
