You are comfortable and experienced with developing an amazing product vision and strategy and excited to be the chief evangelist for championing that vision among internal stakeholders and external customers 

You have strong leadership and interpersonal skills that lead to high levels of collaboration and execution 

You have 5+ years of experience building product management teams with oversight of product management, UX/UI design, and analytics, with a demonstrated history of building products that drive step-function impacts to business 

Details are important to you and you are comfortable being highly analytical and granular about specific details while also being able to have broad and meaningful understanding around the vision 

You have a background in software environments requiring high precision software development (e.g., healthcare, finance, inventory management) as QA engineer, software developer, product manager or analyst 

You enjoy analytics and value the importance of a data driven product design 

You have an expert understanding of usability principles and practices applied to interaction, visual design, and digital/mobile products 

You go deep in one additional area of expertise e.g. motion design, information architecture, research, machine learning, artificial intelligence, etc. 

You've partnered with researchers (or led yourself) on studies that impact strategy and problem framing with methods that go beyond usability testing and concept validation  

You're used to leading a dynamic Lean UX design process across teams where you uncover hidden assumptions, and rapidly validate or understand potential solutions  

You’ve worked with Lean Agile development teams and best practices and are certified in project management, lean, agile frameworks 

Examples of your work include: running cross functional concepting sessions, defining design/system strategy and over all approach, facilitating Program Increment planning and then executing using user flows, wireframes, UI patterns, and high fidelity mocks, and a host implemented digital products that have accomplished business impact 

You're deliberate at and effective about over-communicating the major trade-offs between design/development concepts influencing your partners along the way 

You're able to successfully communicate the value of the product design and the impact of your projects to the rest of the organization in a way that gets people excited and involved  

You love working hand in hand with developers, product managers, product owners, engineers, scrum masters, writers, designers, service area, and research to frame problems and frequently ship solutions together as one team  

You're super skilled with Sketch, other prototyping tools such as InVision, and writing and communicating your thought process, as well as visual presentations that inspire engagement and alignment 

You’re an expert storyteller and can present complicated concepts with ease to the C-suite 

You’ve got experience in a startup or similar fast-paced environment where there is frequent change and a need to demonstrate and act with a sense of urgency and it’s kind of your jam

What skills and experience do you need 

Experience in a startup or similar fast-paced environment where there is frequent change and a need to demonstrate and act with a sense of urgency 

5+ years as a technology product manager with a demonstrated history of building products that drive step-function impacts to business or 7+ years as quantitative analyst or consultant with technology experience  

Experience and excitement about building strong relationships with partners
