Strategic Sourcing (ITSS) Senior Director position resides within the Global Supply Chain (GSC) organization and dotted lines to Information Technology (IT) CIO. This position has responsibility for managing a worldwide team of sourcing professionals with the charter to direct and enhance global strategic sourcing policies and initiatives for spending of ~$1B annually.
Successful candidate will work closely with senior executives within Information Technology, Global Supply Chain and at our suppliers in pursuit of best in class IT strategic sourcing and supplier management practices.
Will have responsibility to continue to drive a transformation in the modernization and digitization of our sourcing capability and value generation while also supporting IT's own transformation program.
Responsible for working with Sales & Marketing Groups (SMG) and other business groups to ensure the holistic relationship between key companies on both the buy and sell side are appropriately managed ensure the value of the relationships are maximized while keeping Intel legal and compliant to company policies.
Demonstrated experience in successfully managing and leading a global team.
Proven track record in driving transformation and change.
Proven track record in engaging with C-suite executives both internally and externally.
Strong ability to partner with and influence key stakeholders both internally and externally, prior knowledge developing and executing worldwide sourcing and supplier management strategies.
Capability to ramp quickly on new initiatives, demonstrated skills in leadership, influencing, planning, contract negotiations and teamwork while delivering results.
Must have a proven ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment, to deal with a high tolerance of ambiguity, and to support multiple concurrent projects and activities.
Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
The successful applicant must possess a Bachelor's degree with at least 12 years relevant supply chain sourcing and leadership experience or a Master's degree with at least 8 years of relevant Information Technology experience.
