Job Description


In this compelling leadership position, you will drive positive transformational change using process management, Six Sigma, Lean, and Continuous Improvement (CI) principles to harmonize and simplify organization-wide business processes.You will plan and direct the work of staff who will engage all stakeholders, execute on business process management strategies, drive process reengineering assessments and standards, implement an enterprise business process management repository, and drive improvements & automation to the company’s process landscape.

The Senior Director - Process Excellence role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:


• Develop and foster a culture of CI by leading improvement activities involving employees from all levels of the organization


• Leverage best practice approaches for transformation and process improvement.This includes effectively positioning and applying emerging analytical tools and techniques (e.g., process mining) for faster and more comprehensive insights about processes and procedures.


• support building and progressing programs and cross-functional efforts that drive operational excellence, process improvement, and efficiency.


• Bring thought leadership on implementing and improving end-to-end process management


• Drive lean solutions to complex initiatives of strategic importance


• Hold business process owners accountable to managing high quality processes


• Implement and integrate process mining techniques to discover critical business processes


• Build compelling cases for change that drive efficiency and quality for the enterprise


Qualifications


THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM


Minimum Required Experiences:


• At least 8 years of relevant experience


• Lean Leader/Six Sigma certification and training


• Strategy, leadership and organizational change management


• Knowledge and practice of business process management (BPM) principles


• Operational excellence and techniques such as Lean and Six Sigma


• Experience working on large-scale, complex, cross functional projects


Desired Experiences:


• BS/BA degree or higher in a quantitative field such as computer science, mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, engineering, or Masters degree or military (supply chain, analytics or engineering experience) preferred


• Management of enterprise level change programs


• Business Process Management Architecture


• LEAN/Six Sigma certification or Fannie Mae business process management endorsement.


• Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment.


• Strong understanding of financial controls and risk 


Skills


• Strong leadership skills including leading teams, giving feedback, facilitating meetings, and coaching and mentoring


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Demonstrated process improvement experience using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies


• Business process architecture


• Presentation skills to share information and / or ideas with audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand


• Influencing skills to include negotiation, persuasion, facilitation, and conflict resolution


• Experience collaborating cross-functionally to achieve common goals


• Experience helping an organization to plan and manage change in effort to meet strategic objectives


• Knowledge of the latest automation strategies


Tools


• Skilled in process modelling visualization tools and enterprise modelling such as ARIS


• Experience using JIRA and Confluence


• MS Office


• Process mining and simulation tools
