The Senior Director, Product Management - Audience will work closely with VP’s and Sr Director’s across Product, UX, Engineering, Marketing and Editorial to build cohesive and comprehensive Audience strategies and execution plans for Cox Automotive’s online properties - Autotrader.com & KBB.com. 

This person should demonstrate Audience domain expertise. Ability to drive and facilitate successful product development through proper assessment, planning, requirement gathering, team leadership and execution. Ability to build strong relationships across Product, UX, Engineering, Analytics, Editorial & Marketing to evaluate opportunities, generate incremental sources of traffic and deliver value to our consumers, clients and Cox Automotive.  

 

Responsibilities:  


Provide strong leadership and evangelism of the product vision and strategy

Collaborate with clients, partners and internal team members to understand market needs and trends, and translate them into a clear audience & product strategies, execution and go-to-market plans

Collaborate with UX, Editorial, Marketing and Engineering to develop experiences & strategies to drive incremental audiences to Autotrader.com & KBB.com

Responsible for managing the product release cycle and share responsibility with user experience and engineering for on-time delivery of products

Prioritize projects among competing opportunities, balance consumer & customer needs with business priorities, and articulate business rationale behind decisions

Continually innovate new product offerings to evolve our experiences and increase value we provide our consumers, clients and Cox Automotive 

Monitor competition and evaluate our positioning in the context of the markets we serve

Create revenue and cost models to enable communication of margins and ROI to leadership

Manage and track product deliverables to deliver on time and in scope to meet revenue goals


Qualifications:


5-7+ Years in a leadership role within an enterprise size organization

10+ Years of online product experience & organic search experience

Ability to manage multiple teams

Strong analytical and cross-functional product development background

Must be comfortable conveying the value of new and emerging products, technologies or applications to senior management and across a diverse product team

Agile Product Discovery & Development, Launch and Lifecycle management experience

Experience leading a cross-functional organization in executing projects from ideation to completion

Ability to adapt to a quickly changing business environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Strong initiative and ability to drive projects to completion with limited supervision

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to organize, prioritize, and maintain attention to detail

Automotive experience a plus

College degree or equivalent work experience

MBA a plus
