Netspend is looking for results oriented Head of Product Marketing with a passion for building great teams and great products. In this role you will synthesize market, consumer, product, and competitive inputs into driving customer value and revenue for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a passion for understanding our consumers and market dynamics, exceptional understanding of product strategy and positioning, and a track record of cross functional collaboration to launch and scale products. This is a great opportunity for someone who is eager build and grow a Product Marketing organization in the dynamic payments industry. This position is based in Austin, TX.
Thought leadership:You’ll build and lead the consumer and B2B product marketing teams, lead market, competitive and customer research to shape how we position our products in the marketplace, and drive strategy with your deep understanding of our products, use cases, and buyer personas.
Product Positioning and messaging. You’ll understand our consumers’ needs and behaviors, define key benefits that differentiate our products and services, and deliver unified and compelling messaging across multiple distribution channels and partnerships to effectively promote our products and solutions.
B2B positioning: Effectively communicate the value proposition of our Netspend brand to the industry in order to differentiate the company and products.Work with Business Development and Sales to refine our industry narrative with respect to breadth and depth of capabilities, products and partnerships.
Go to market strategy: Working closely with Marketing, Product, and Channel Distribution teams, you’ll own the success of go to market and launch strategies for new products and features. You’ll work collaboratively to deliver enterprise-wide campaigns that unify and amplify brand position, customer value, and ongoing customer communications.
Pricing analysis and modeling: You’ll own the formulation of optimal pricing strategies for both Consumer and Commercial products.
Customer advisory groups: You’ll engage with the buyer and market communities through events, meetups and conferences, and develop customer advisory groups to inform Product and Marketing initiatives.
12+ years of product marketing experience within financial services, technology, or related organizations
Proven success In leading and managing product marketing organizations
Demonstrated experience developing positioning and messaging for products that serve multiple use cases and personas, and a proven track record of creating and executing successful go-to market plans
Expertise synthesizing customer, product, and marketing data to make analytic-driven recommendation
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects to completion
Highly motivated, positive attitude, and passionate about building profitable businesses
Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills with superior attention to detail. Track record of working with executive management
Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Business Administration in Marketing, Advertising, Information Technology or related degree or applicable experience preferred
