As Senior Director, Risk Management, you are responsible for working on Leading Media / Entertainment Company's the Company’s world-wide insurance programs. Working with the support of a team, you also operate independently to develop strong and positive internal relationships with our Finance, Legal and Operations teams. As a subject matter expert you will provide guidance, problem-solve, and respond to a broad range of program related queries and contract review needs. You will also work closely with external partners at our brokerage firms and insurance carriers. You will report to the Senior Vice President, Risk Management.


In this role, you are:


Working in conjunction with the SVP, Risk Management on the annual insurance renewals for Leading Media / Entertainment Company's Property, Casualty and Financial Lines programs

Identifying and capturing worldwide exposure information

Completing analysis of exposure information to identify potential gaps in coverage or limits

Participating in renewal strategy meetings with brokers

Preparing market presentations and participate in meetings

Assisting with review of insurance programs during acquisition due diligence and integration of insurance policies and practices with acquired companies

Reviewing high volume of contracts including Blanket Vendors Agreements, License Agreements, Statements of Work, Real Estate Leases and provide BALA representatives with necessary insurance language to protect Leading Media / Entertainment Company’s interests

Corresponding with and advise divisions on general and complex insurance queries and requests for Certificates of Insurance

Assisting business divisions with claims and coverage issues

Conducting seminars or training sessions on risk management practices, insurance programs and claim processes for various business teams in the US, UK and LatAm

Managing the property loss control program

Attending annual property surveys at approximately 6-8 domestic locations and 2-3 international location

Ensuring business units have Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans in place

Providing guidance to divisions in responding to engineer’s recommendations



Basic Qualifications

7+ years of risk management and insurance experience with a corporation or brokerage firm

College Degree, J.D. or M.B.A. a plus;

Ability to travel (domestic and international)
