The Director, Supply Chain Strategy, Culture and Communication (DSCC) reporting to the Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO) will serve as an advisor to the CSCO and other Supply Chain leadership team members and will be a member of the SC Leadership Team. Priorities for this role will be mainly focused on ensuring time management, information flow, knowledge acquisition & dissemination and decision processes within the supply chain department are more effective. Also, the role will be driving selected strategic and cross- functional transformative initiatives


Main Responsibilities:


Plan, manage and execute a clear communication strategy to streamline the flow of information among SC leadership team, the broader SC organization, and the rest of the organization

Develop and execute the cadence of strategic meetings and review processes to manage the business and ensure delivery of the organization’s and supply chain’s objectives

Lead in close collaboration with SC leadership team the development and implementation of effective onboarding, learning and development programs for the supply chain team

Build the Supply Chain team DNA and establish emotional connection for employees, leadership, and the organization as whole

Support SC leadership team to manage time effectively based on business priorities

Support the CSCO by (i) driving effective decision making, based on sound operational and business insight and analysis and (ii) thinking through and setting and implementing policies

Ensure accountability, execution and adherence to organization operating and planning processes

Drive effective program management mechanisms to ensure that all large SC projects are meeting

objectives

Lead ad hoc strategic and cross- functional transformative initiatives.


What you bring to the party:


Master’s degree required with 10-15 years minimum of relevant strategic and operational supply chain experience preferably in CPG industry within complex and global organizations

Significant experience leading supply chain best practices such as M&A, planning, procurement, S&OP, global mile logistics, warehousing, omni-channel fulfilment, reverse logistics, last mile delivery, sourcing, outsourcing, strategic partnerships, manufacturing, quality, sustainability, new hires on-boarding, communication, etc.

Ability to drive significant strategic, operational, and cultural transformation initiatives

Ability to understand the big picture and at the same time dive deeper into details as necessary

Ability to influence without authority across all organization’s layers

Outstanding communication, organizational and time management skills

Strong business acumen coupled with deep analytical capability

Effective project and program management skills – ability to organize and structure work effectively and ensure results are delivered

Credibility, courage, and confidence to deliver strong guidance and messaging to both peers and senior leaders across the organization

A global citizen with proven track record of leading effectively across multiple cultures, geographies, and time zones
