The Sr, Director Technology Program Management reports to the VP of Digital Product Development of the Digital Product Development Org (DPD)/ Chief of Staff for the Chief Product Officer.
The Sr. Director of Technology Program Management will be responsible for the day-to-day management of team members for the smooth delivery/operation of solutions and features that encompasses our app experience and priorities to deliver streaming listener and engagement growth.The features are available across all streaming platforms (mobile, web, automotive, connected devices including wearables, voice enable speakers and devices, third party apps). The role partners closely with other teams in digital product development (DPD) and business partners across the organization.
The Sr. Director of Digital Program Management will be well-versed in Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) and will work closely with cross functional partners, including but not limited to: Product, UX, Production, Business Operations and IT resources to manage and oversee the implementation of all digital efforts.
For this position, we expect the candidate to be a tech-savvy professional with an in-depth understanding of how process and technology can help us achieve our business goals. They should be methodical and have excellent time and management skills. This role will also be expected to use communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams.
Duties and responsibilities:
The Senior Director, Technology Program Management has key responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Technical Program Management, Product Development Portfolio Management and Engineering Programs.
Ensure continuous improvement of all program management methodologies, templates and tools to account for new/updated workflows, communications, interdependencies, and overall support of Product Engineering org.
Lead the Technical Program Management Office, including: managers and individual contributors.These teams work across different initiatives/programs.
Lead the team in creating scalable methods, best practices, and relevant KPIs.
Develop and mentor the team in order to build strong program management skills.
Create a scalable dependency management framework across multiple disciplines to better align product and engineering teams.
Develop processes and reporting mechanisms that are scalable.
Explore / experiment with multiple tools (and recommend) to improve efficiencies.
Bring clarity and structure to ambiguous organizational challenges and problems.
Foresee dependencies, risks, and issues -- build the appropriate program framework for projects and programs to deliver quality.
Ensure customer-facing technical documentation is up to date and contains critical level of detail for seamless onboarding and integration.
Work in support of standardization for best practices and processes within DPD.
Develop strong partnerships with functional leaders to drive focus on business objectives. Be a trusted partner for executive management to ensure program success.
10+ years of management consulting, large scale program management, engineering and/ or product management leadership experience
5+ years of management experience
Ability to understand technical subjects and technologies relevant to the program.
Strong organizational, project management, analysis, and communication skills.
Ability to manage/juggle competing priorities without loss of efficiency.
Experienced with setting up processes to improve engagements between technology, product and cross-functional groups (i.e. has led process development within a central product and engineering organization)
Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle; ability to adjust and apply this knowledge in a dynamic environment using agile methodologies.
Experience with Program Portfolio Management.
Seasoned expert with typical Project management tools such as Jira, Smart Sheet, Excel etc.
Experience with Agile development

Strength in financial acumen - proven track record of planning and executing on the financial aspect of deliverables
Working knowledge of Atlassian Collaboration Tools
