The US Insurance Digital Engagement Leader is responsible for collaborating with US Insurance Business Leaders to align business objectives with Digital resources and capabilities within the Digital Organization.The Digital Engagement Leader will lead the development of US Insurance overall digital strategy and also provide guidance and leadership in supporting the development of new Digital assets for US Insurance. 

The Digital Engagement Leader is the US Insurance Leadership digital conduit, assessing and anticipating digital needs. The Leader will support the US Insurance Leadership team in identifying digital opportunities and accessing the appropriate resources within the Digital Organization to meet identified business objectives. The Engagement Leader will be responsible for building the division’s digital roadmap and support the development of digital integrated solutions from ideation to execution. The Engagement Leader formulates partnerships with various business leaders within US Insurance to coordination and helps deliver value-added digital service that reflect the goals of the organization.

Understands business objectives and strategic goals to provide guidance and recommendations on potential digital solutions

Serve as a thought leader, diagnose and collaborate on business problems, potential digital solutions and expeditiously connect the business to the right groups/resources within the digital organization

Consult on digital strategies in support of specific business needs and align/are consistent with the organization’s digital strategy

Lead opportunities into the digital organization for testing, decisioning, and execution on behalf of US Insurance

Establish and enhance digital roadmaps for US Insurance and make recommendations to pivot based on modifications to strategy or market conditions

Serve as the digital expert and resource to US Insurance with external strategic partners, as requested

Work with the Digital Leadership team to collaborate and negotiate assignment of the digital organizations resources

Empower and support US Insurance stakeholder to bring identified ideas or challenges that may have digital solutions to the digital organization

Raise awareness around existing or emerging capabilities either within the digital organization or digitally aligned parts of the enterprise

Engage to solution opportunities to seek out operational improvement

Effectively communicate on digital trends, offerings and services

Create awareness ondigital trends impacting our industry and strategic partners

Highlight growth opportunities and success from digital product distribution

Facilitate business case development to appropriately allocate financial and human resources

Requirements for the role:

Bachelor s degree required; Bachelor’s in Communications and/or Business preferred

10+ years or more of insurance and/or project/program management experience

Experience leading and motivating a team

Strong team interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and resolve conflict

Ability and proven track record in developing and executing strategy and roadmaps

Great project management, organizational, and analytical skills

Experience managing a budget

Knowledge of the insurance industry a plus
