As the Worldwide Sales Leader for E-Commerce Cloud Platform & Renewals, you will be responsible for leveraging digital and e-commerce to drive new product sales and optimize the customer journey from acquisition through renewal activity. 

In addition to contributing to growth and success of VMware’s renewals and Cloud products, you will be responsible for setting the vision and strategy for the customer journey and digital lifecycle of both our perpetual and SaaS product offerings online. 

This role will report directly to the Worldwide Vice President of Renewals, E-Commerce and License Compliance.

E-Commerce Sales and P&L Management:

Responsible for setting and meeting e-commerce sales goals, as well key performance drivers such as traffic, conversion, renewal rates and XSUS expansion with existing customers

Oversee the e-commerce P&L, partnering closely with the digital product development team on technology investments, operations on warehouse & logistics and finance.

Oversee daily, monthly and quarterly sales forecasting.

Develop and execute online marketing calendars to support revenue targets, in line with overall brand and retail marketing initiatives across channels.

Contribute to recommendations for enhancements to e-commerce-related systems and workflow to improve process and efficiencies.

Work internally with Business Units to adopt and drive more transactional cloud offerings on our stores.

10+ years’ experience managing all key business functions described above

Proven track record in growing a successful, sizeable e-commerce business with experience in both strategy development and operational execution

Strong knowledge of e-commerce strategy and planning, budget and P&L management, sales forecasting, online merchandising and marketing

Proven leadership and team management skills

Deep understanding of paid media and performance marketing

Hands-on experience with retention marketing and customer journey-building

Knowledge of customer analytics, segmentation and propensity modelling

BA/BS required

Preferred Skills:

Global e-Commerce experience

Loyalty program experience
