As a senior electronic engineer you will work on a variety of technically challenging projects, helping to create the next generation of medical devices ranging from electromechanical drug delivery systems to consumer health care and health monitoring applications, surgical devices, and surgical robotics. 


You will:

  • Support the scoping of new projects by understanding client requirements and identifying technical challenges

  • Participate in the development of system architectures and detailed designs in collaboration with engineers from other disciplines

  • Perform simulations and produce detailed analog, digital, and mixed signal circuit designs

  • Develop schematics and PCB layouts

  • Support the architecture, implementation, and testing of embedded software or HDL code

  • Support the project team to produce and implement test plans to evaluate technologies and verify product functionality against requirements



  • Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related discipline

  • At least 2 years of industry experience, preferably in product design or technology exploration

  • A strong understanding of fundamental electronic principles and circuit analysis

  • Test and measurement experience with DMMs, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other lab equipment

  • Experience with circuit design and simulation

  • Schematic and PCB design experience (Altium preferred)

  • Experience of PCB prototyping and soldering

  • Good communication skills and comfortable in occasional customer facing roles

  • Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship


  • Knowledge of Matlab, Python or Labview for processing test results and test and measurement automation

  • Experience with RF technologies and circuit designs from 400 MHz to 6 GHz

  • Knowledge of communications standards and protocols such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and ZigBee

  • Experience with Medical device development and associated standards (ISO13485, ISO14971, or IEC60601)
