The P&T Data Management Analyst will have three primary responsibilities. 1) Protect; 2) Provision; and 3) Present people data; in support of data driven decisions.  


1) Protect: Support our guidance to classify and protect our people data in transit, and in storage. Enforce the P&T Data Usage policy.

2) Provision: Provide the P&T data that enables IGT operations: P&T decision making, Financial, Legal, Audit, Manufacturing, other; in a timely manner; leveraging our HR share services ticketing system (myGPS queue); in a variety of formats (i.e.Templates, reports, other) and according to our service delivery response standards.

3) Present: The P&T Data Management analyst uses low and hi fidelity visualization techniques to present P&T data in ways that enable insights and decision making- For example: Excel Dashboards (Lo fidelity) and HR modeling tools such as Power BI and OrgVue (Hi fidelity)


The P&T Data Management Analyst partners with our Global IT Enterprise Application team to improve automation of our Data Provision responsibility. This will include the evolution of our reporting platform (including shifting greater number of reports to self-service) and increase in report processing efficiency. This role will also partner with our GPS (HR Share Services) team to implement and improve our overall P&T Data Quality strategy.


Responsibilities


Improves and maintains our online report catalog 

Develops custom reports (per customer requirements) within the parameters of a “minimum common viable” report to prevent an oversize report catalog

Supports the production of complex data reports, summaries, and logs for senior executives and P&T staff.

Works with Global IT to support the creation new interfaces between system that will stop the need for manual data transfer between systems 

Works with Global IT to provide guidance to maintain P&T data permissions

Runs and distributes recurring reports that do not qualify for self-service in a timely manner 

Drives report centralization by closing out any stand-alone report repositories

Enforces data quality and data protection guidance in the exercise of daily work

Works with Global IT to ensure our P&T data follows data security and privacy requirements.

Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to report users.

Collaborates with cross functional project teams to find data-driven solutions to business challenges

Scouts and introduces trends around 3 primary responsibilities

Gets familiarized with company modeling and data decision support tools (MS Power BI, Tableau, OrgVue) and explores ways to improve P&T data visualization and analysis in the service of workforce planning process, organizational key indicators, other.

Provides training on interpretation of data patterns that aid decision-making and performance improvement

Performs other duties as required.

Maintains documentation regarding procedures and processes related to producing reports and data. (i.e.internal database files and tables used to build data support solutions) 

 

Qualifications


Degree in Business Analytics and/or 5 years’ experience delivering data and insight to organization

Thorough understanding of types of analytics and application of each to enable decision making

Comfortable with methodology and process for Workforce planning and Labor Cost 

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software: Excel, power point, other)

Expert excel user and comfortable with the use of formulas

Ability to keep information confidential.

Experience with Success Factor desirable

Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
