Be the neuroscience marketing lead, with a demonstable commercial leadership drive in EU & RoW (global, except the US/Canada) helping to ensure the achievement of our bold vision to transform the Jazz Neuroscience business outside of the US. Be the Brand Champion responsible for effective collaboration with key stakeholders to co-create and shape a compelling vision for our launch brand. Lead the communication of the vision with passion and energy inside and outside Jazz. Lead the development and implementation of fully cross functionally integrated strategic and operational marketing plans for EU & RoW to deliver exceptional brand performance and maximise market opportunities. Ensure alignment and quality implementation in all countries in EU & RoW. Develop promotional and non-promotional materials and programmes that inspire excellence in execution. In conjunction with medical affairs colleagues shape ambitious advocacy programmes enabling all appropriate patients to access the brand through their HCP.Deliver effective financial planning and control in the preparation and execution of the cross functional annual plan. Support Business Unit Head, EU/RoW, develop longer term franchise plans integrating existing product lifecycle management and preparation for forthcoming assets.
Be responsible for the development and implementation of the EU & RoW best in class brand strategy to deliver a bold and ambitious launch of this novel therapy in the Sleep area:
Adopt a ONE TEAM collaborative mindset with cross-functional teams in Oxford, affiliate sales, marketing, market access and medical teams, and US colleagues to develop the overall launch plans and ensure close alignment for the pre-launch and launch activities across the region.
Lead by focussing on the agreed key strategic priorities for launch encompassing programmes targeting all relevant groups of HCPs including local and national payers, whilst maintaining flexibility to identify and act on critical market insights and developments.
Ensure cross functional brand plans are customer and patient centric, fully leveraging digital marketing technologies in line with the core strategic and operational objectives.
Be a strong and active partner in the development advocacy programmes which align our brand objectives with the needs of patients, physicians and payers.
Role model excellence in execution at an above country level: In collaboration with countries agree regional and local KPIs (lag and lead) to support pre-launch preparation and launch to exceed financial and other objectives.
Shape and anticipate future trends in market dynamics, therapeutic approaches, patient and healthcare professional needs.
Have high standards and ensure all materials and programmes are reviewed and approved in accordance with JAZZ Pharmaceuticals standard operating procedures
Inspire the development and implementation of bold and creative congress plans that effectively positions Jazz as a leader in the therapeutic area and the brand as the new gold standard of therapy
Partner with agencies and contractors effectively to ensure that they see our business as their business and thus deliver exceptional quality outputs and value for money.
Act as the champion for the brand, responsible for outstanding collaboration with key stakeholders to shape a compelling brand vision, and for communicating that vision with passion and energy inside and outside the company:

Be a participative leader of current and future brand development initiatives at the global and regional level
Build highly effective partnerships at both a functional leadership level (ELT members) and regional ‘hands on’ team across EU & RoW Medical Affairs team, Regulatory, Legal, Compliance, Finance, L&D, Strategic Planning, US commercial and medical teams
Be an exceptional collaborator with country management teams (GM’s, BUDs, Medical Directors) to build relationships, trust and two-way communication to ensure commitment and alignment to strategy and the allocation of resources.
Further build the reputation of JAZZ Pharmaceuticals as a new leader in Sleep Medicine throughout EU & RoW and an exciting emerging neuroscience focussed organisation to partner with
Ensure credibility and professionalism by adopting a leadership mindset in all brand communication activities and materials to establish Jazz as the New Leader in Sleep Medicine EU/RoW
Build collaborative relationships with key opinion leaders and relevant medical societies
Act as an ambassador for JAZZ Pharmaceuticals following our mission of improving patients’ lives by living our core values of integrity, passion, collaboration, innovation and the pursuit of excellence.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Candidates must be courageous leaders, with the ability to inspire individuals and cross-functional teams to deliver through lateral leadership with a track record that demonstrates it.
Candidates must demonstrate sound knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing with broad experience of strategic and operational marketing responsibility
Strong sales management experience, ideally second line, as a bench strength to draw on for commercial planning and launch execution
Experience of leading speciality care brands ideally in Neurology and or respiratory
Awareness and experience of digital and CLM initiatives.
Strong leadership, people management and project management abilities
Proven ability to 'partner' successfully across the full range of pharmaceutical company functions
Ability to develop strong relationships with a diverse set of individuals and groups
Excellentoral and writtencommunicationskills, including presentationsto large groups, attention to detail and ability to understand, interpret and explain clinical data.
Highly motivated, enthusiastic and inspirational

Required/Preferred Education and Licenses
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (Life Science preferred)
