BAE Systems is looking for an experienced Systems/Security Engineer to work on a multi-disciplinary team in an Agile, fast-paced development environment. The qualified candidate will support the development and implementation of complex software services and frameworks capable of performing data analytics in the C2S environment. This system provides services and user interfaces for intelligence data management and incorporates analytics from third parties as well as internally developed algorithms.
The primary tasks include the development of accreditation package in compliance with ICD 503 RMF as well as lead process of obtaining approval for the program. The Systems/Security Engineer will support the XACTA process, white list, SWAP list, POAM remediation, and optimizing accreditation processes. This position will work in close interaction with other engineers within and across the scrum teams is required to achieve program objectives.
This position will also coordinate security testing efforts when customers are involved and suupport customer meetings and briefings as requested by the Chief Engineer.
Position may require occasional business travel to customer locations in support of product demonstrations, test activities and customer meetings.
Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
-Bachelor of Science degree in engineering/technical discipline, and 10+ year(s) related experience or equivalent experience, training and/or certifications
-10+ years as a Security experience with ICD 503 RMF approvals
-Proficient in requirements identification, analysis, documentation, and tracking
-Proficient analyzing customer needs, and identifying user stories and technical tasks to achieve various Agile objectives and iterative development schedules
-Proficient with testing
-Familiar with Cloud computing environments such as AWS
-Ability to participate in analyzing customer needs, and identifying user stories and technical tasks to achieve various Agile objectives and iterative development schedules
-Ability to use statistical analysis methods and tools
-Ability to work with customers in a dynamic environment
-Ability to develop improved methods to increase program efficiency

-Ability to apply advanced technical principles, theories and concepts.

Preferred Skills and Education
-Bachelors of Science degree in Systems Engineering or related discipline
-IC3 experience preferred
-Test automation experience or sufficient test scripting skills in a common scripting language such as Perl, Ruby or Python
-Proficiency with Agile management tools (e.g., Jira, etc.)
-Experience with DevOps tools and processes
-Experience with Cloud computing environments ( e.g., AWS, Azure)
-Experience estimating, planning, executing engineering activities
-Experience developing proposals, ECPs, and whitepapers focused on new business
-Knowledge of open, standards-based architectures, interfaces and geospatial data
-Familiarity with DoDAF
