Technologies (QCT) is the largest provider of 3G/4G chipset and software technology in the world, with chipsets shipped to more than 50 customers and powering the majority of all 3G/4G devices commercially available. QCT develops and supplies integrated circuits and system software based on CDMA, OFDMA and other technologies for use in mobile devices, wireless networks, devices used in IoT, broadband gateway equipment, consumer electronic devices and automotive telematics and infotainment systems. This Chipset SW Program Manager position, will be part of the core team tasked with managing development and delivery of SW technologies which go into products in the different industries such as Mobile, Automotive, IoT and Wearables. Responsibilities: The candidate will be responsible for providing engineering/customer program management and leadership including the following core priorities: Establish stable Plan of Record (POR): ensure roadmap/requirements baseline, features, project priorities, requirements change control, driving synchronization across several development teams (internally/at customer site for customer program management), etc. Drive planning/scheduling: develop the execution schedule comprehending staffing needs and interdependencies across teams, divisions and also, with third parties. Establish routine update & communications process: update status, schedule trends vs baseline, risk management, mitigation and recovery actions, etc. Develop program indicators to push information to internal customer teams and management, develop content and present at various program reviews. Partner with other cross functional areas to establish critical processes to support disciplined product development and decision making and to ensure quality. Co-ordination across multiple development sites. This includes other QUALCOMM sites as well as contractors and customers/carriers, both domestic and international.Travel to other development and customer sites may be required Troubleshoots program issues at both a managerial and technical level and help develop alternative program tasks, schedules, milestones, resource plans, processes etc. to resolve program issues and conflicts Leads customer problem resolution, identifying required resources, tasks and investigation paths to quickly solve customer issues to maintain schedule for end product launch and production

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
4+ years Program Management experience or related work experience.
3+ years working with operating budgets, resources, and/or project financials.
Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
7+ years Program Management experience or related work experience.
2+ years experience with program management tools such as dashboards, Gantt charts, etc.
3+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above).
2+ years experience working in a large matrixed organization.
