The Salesforce Blockchain Team is seeking an experienced enterprise security and Crypto pioneer . Enterprise security is critical to the success of Salesforce, Business Technology, and Salesforce employees. As the Security Architect of this team, you will strategically influence, define, design and implement the present and future of how we secure our Blockchain Key Store and build a truly de-centralized Infrastructure in balance with the usability needs of our customers and partners. A successful candidate will own the roadmap for the full spectrum of enterprise security controls, assets, and engineering enablement and will drive that vision with the help of our trusted partners in Business Technology.
Applied Cryptographer with full stack development.
Experience with PKI, X509, OWASP, PKCS#11,HSM
Experience building Multi-Factor Authentication
Security and privacy primitives including understanding of cryptography concepts.
Hands-on usage of crypto libraries such as OpenSSL, mbedTLS.
Storage protocols such as NVMe, SATA.
Background in working with FPGAs for prototyping
Prototype new features that will enable and secure both real-time and non-realtime peer-to-peer communication over heterogeneous networks.
Follow trends in technology and apply new security approaches for device-identity, authentication, attestation, key-storage, and management.
Document software designs, functional and design specifications, presentations, and other documents as needed
Consensus and consistency frameworks (e.g., POET, Raft, eventual consistency)
Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle from design to development to deployment.
Drive Enterprise Security initiatives in relation to securing assets, customer services delivery, and regulatory/audit compliance.
Hands-on experience with container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Ph.D. or Masters in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
10+ years of hand-on experience working in a security-focused role in the technology or other technology-heavy industry.
5+ years experience in development of cryptography, blockchain, PKI and similar areas.
In-depth knowledge of common application and infrastructure security vulnerabilities and mitigations
Experience with cloud computing architectures and the associated security designs and challenges
Skilled in implementing secure modern Identity and Access Management (IAM)
Experience in implementing mail security capabilities (DMARC, SPF and DKIM)
Experience implementing zero trust security models such as BeyondCorp
Experience implementing SDLC process, technology, and automation
Experience with common open source libraries and technologies ) and how to effectively harden them
Experience with common web application development technologies (e.g. Java, PHP, Python, AJAX, etc...) along with tools and processes to enable teams to develop safely
Strong cross-functional leadership and team building skills
Experience engaging with customers regarding security
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
