We are currently seeking a Security Director II for the Electronic Systems (ES) Sector. The individual will be responsible for assisting the VP of Security to set the strategic direction for the Security function to ensure successful business execution on classified programs while maintaining compliance to all Government and Company Policies. Acts as Security Advisor to all ES VP/GM’s and their respective Business Areas in accordance with the company’s SSA and business requirements as well as interact with senior government security leaders. Identify and engage with industry associations to resolve redundancies, inefficiencies and lack of clarity in policies and procedures. Will provide oversight, lead and mentor the security team to ensure consistency and standardization. Reports on all facets of the company’s compliance to include non-US based programs and facilities. Responsible for ensuring Security organization establishes and maintains on-going key customer business relationships, including site visits and anticipating and resolving potential problems. Identifies and summarizes customer requirements and priorities. Provides the leadership essential to develop, and lead security function in support of executing business objectives. Develops and executes security best practices related to enabling program execution for ES’ diverse and complex classified program portfolio. Provides strategic direction in the allocation of capital resources for prioritized security improvements. Coordinates cross-company initiatives to efficiently address customer requirements and eliminate redundant approaches by multiple business units. Responsible for assisting in interaction and coordination with Inc, UK HQ and other business entities. Participate in Industry Associations, functional professional organizations.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Applicants must have a "current" TS/SCI clearance with no pending adverse clearance actions. TS SCI clearances must be reflected within JPAS with a method of validation required. Applicant must meet specific SAP/SAR eligibility requirements IAW JAFAN 6/4 and SAP NP requirements. Consent to Counter-Intelligence polygraph will be required. Favorable clearance and polygraph results will be required while working the contract. Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen. The selected candidate will be required to travel in support of business needs.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
~Strategic Security Insight – Recognize and thoroughly understand changes in the customer security environment, as well as industry trends domestically and globally
o Critical to have key relationships and background experience with DSS, Special Access Programs (specifically: AF, DARPA and Navy) and the Intelligence Community.
