The SVP/CFO has financial oversight for the enterprise and acts as a strategic business partner to the President/Chief Executive Officer and other members of the executive leadership team, providing insight and recommendations to both short- and long-term initiatives and growth plans.

He/she continuously assesses and evaluates the financial performance of the organization with regards to long-term operational goals, budgets and forecasts, and creates and establishes annual financial objectives that align with the health system’s plan for growth and expansion.

The SVP/CFO is fully accountable for corporate finance, financial operations, revenue cycle, treasury, and the long-range financial planning for the organization.

He/she will contribute and influence the business strategy and provide leadership outside the typical financial accountabilities.

Additionally, this position serves as the primary liaison for the Finance and Planning Committee of the Board of Directors and works closely with the Audit Committee of the Board.

Professional Experience & 


A minimum of 8+ years of experience with demonstrated leadership in health care finance in a large, complex, integrated healthcare delivery system is required.

Experience working within an Academic Medical Center setting (currently or in a previous role) is desired.

Experience working within an organization with significant urban population, DSRIP, government payment and other supplemental payment programs.

Must have a proven track record of success in leading profitable financial operations for a multi-site, multi-line of business, complex integrated healthcare enterprise.
