The Four Seasons Resort and Residences is looking for a Spa Director. This position's tentative start date is not until June/July 2019.
Responsible for the over-all operation and performance of the spa and fitness for the Resort - including salon and retail, fitness center, meeting all financial objectives for the spa(s), meeting monthly spa revenue projections as it relates to retail and service and ensuring that expenses are maintained within budget provided. Primary functions include, but are not limited to: (1) providing outstanding guest service and satisfaction, (2) revenue generation and enhancement, (3) staff management and training.
To be responsible for the quality of service and maintenance of the product at the Spa in line with Four Seasons operating standards.
To be responsible for the quality of service and maintenance of the Fitness Center with Four Seasons operating standards.
To prepare monthly financial and statistical reports for the Hotel senior management incorporating proposals and recommendations regarding policy and operation of the Spa/Fitness, competition, occupancy and usage, market share and achievement of targets.
To develop and submit an annual budget and business plan for the Spa/Fitness. To be responsible for the achievement and regular review of the business plan and budget. This should also include the control of staff wage costs in relation to productivity and efficiency.
To work closely with the Executive Team in the preparation of Spa/Fitness marketing plans for the year.
To coordinate all promotional plans and projects for the facility. To provide leadership, direction and support to the employees of the Spa/Fitness and to develop a highly motivated team who can deliver high standards of service in all areas.
To effectively integrate the Spa/Fitness within the Hotel marketing strategy and to ensure that the Spa /Fitness is marketed correctly both internally and externally. This includes responsibility for ensuring that all hotel staff are kept informed of changes or additions to information in the Spa/Fitness.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Previous Hotel/Resort Spa and Fitness Experience
Minimum 5 years management experience in a luxury Spa and Fitness
Strong leadership & organizational skills required
Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
Must already be legally permitted to work in the United States. Applicants without valid work authorization for the United States will not be considered.
