SoFi creates innovative and transparent financial products, delivers them with user-friendly technology, and supports our customers (who we call Members) with benefits to help them reach their financial and professional goals faster.We’re seeking a savvy digital marketer to manage the go-to-market plan and member engagement strategy for SoFi, inclusive of all product lines.You’ll build a differentiated and defensible positioning for our brand and craft strategies across app, content, and event activations including the new SoFi stadium.This is a highly cross-functional role, both within our Marketing team and the cross-functional teams of the Member business unit. This role reports to our Vice President of Product Marketing.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Develop app marketing strategy, including strategy & tactics that drive organic and paid mobile app downloads, improved app store rankings, daily active use through the Member Home & quantity of reviews.Partner with business, product, engineering, data science, and channel marketing teams to drive execution.

Create and align a strategy for engaging Members with product news and offers, inclusive of referrals, new product launches, incentives, events and educational content.Set a learning plan and measure against KPIs to create a framework for continuous optimization.  

Partner with the Member Business Unit and Media team to create event activations for the new SoFi stadium in Los Angeles, the future home of the LA Chargers and LA Rams (opening July 2020). 

Represent the member and market (including customer journey and target personas/segments) generated from consumer and competitive insights.Conduct research to identify consumer insights around life events and triggers for changing financial products needs. Use these insights to drive cross-selling strategy for our products.


10-15 years relevant marketing experience, preferably in consumer product marketing/brand management with strong digital marketing

Strategy and Execution: Combine strategic thinking with tactical execution to drive customer acquisition through diverse channels in holistic GTM plan

Digital Experience: This leader will have experience working on app engagement & lifecycle marketing strategies

Analytics: Use data to drive strategy, execution, and optimization

Storytelling: Passion for crafting a compelling story that drives people to action

Self-Starting: Eagerness to roll up your sleeves to get things done (even the unglamourous things)

Flexibility: Problem-solve in a fast-paced, self-driven environment

Growth: Proven track record of building budgets and programs that support efficient growth

Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
