The Sr. Director - Technology Relationship Lead will be the primary technology representative for both LivCor and ShopCore, partnering with business leaders to define and execute strategic technology roadmaps to deliver exceptional technology services.The Technology Relationship Lead will partner and engage with portfolio companies to translate and unite our technology goals.  

The technology organization comprises a team of technology and data professionals focused on delivering solutions to improve decision-making, optimize internal business processes, increase operational efficiency, and transform data into actionable insights. In this role, you will report to the Head of Engagement Management.  

Revantage Corporate Services, an affiliated company of Blackstone, was created in August 2017 to provide consultative services consisting of HR, Finance, Tax, Legal, Risk Management and Technology to real estate portfolio companies owned by Blackstone funds, in various sectors including multifamily (LivCor), commercial office (Equity Office), retail (ShopCore), hotel (BRE Hotels & Resorts), and industrial (Link).As Revantage expands, we may provide services to additional Blackstone companies. 

Lead the technology operational and strategic planning for LivCor and ShopCOre which includes fostering innovations, managing and executing projects, prioritizing initiatives and conceptualizing new technology products and solutions

Comprehend business problems, processes and insights to translate into actionable items that will develop a technology roadmap and design, iterating on those designs based on portfolio company feedback, user research, technology constraints and market dynamics

Building a deep understanding of portfolio company needs, market opportunities and competition through research and design exploration

Partner with the CTO to ensure technology cost transparency and management 

Manage third party consultants in their delivery of services and negotiate resource allocation

Stay abreast of technology advances and changes in the real estate market to provide the business with further ability to differentiate and improve capabilities

Design products and solutions, managing and executing projects, and oversee third party management (managing third party consulting orgs that will delivery projects), and oversight of a business analyst and technologist

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with business customers. Developing a strong working knowledge of the company's business and drive the business relationship with key internal partners

Manage one or more direct reports supporting execution of projects and portfolio company relationship management

Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field

Minimum 7 years of technology relationship management experience, or related

A proven track record of using data and technology to capitalize on business opportunities

Experience in developing and leveraging a data and analytics capability within the business

Ability to influence others without direct authority is critical

Demonstrated experience building relationships as a liaison between technology team and clients

Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies

Capacity to work within complex systems and large data sets

A desire to be a part of and help grow a great team and organization
