We are looking for a Senior General Accountant who will bring clarity, organization, structure, and personality to our US Inventory Accounting team. In this role, you should have the energy and desire to manage the execution of all activities that are deemed necessary for the position. You are also capable of driving success within a wide range of diverse responsibilities, including communicating with and garnering help from partners across all levels of the organization. You can manage your workload, drive projects to completion, facilitate the closing calendar and all related tasks, and handle the ad hoc requests of various business partners and the controller’s organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Support inventory accounting and reporting processes, such as journal entries, reconciliations and detailed account analysis, to ensure timely and accurate financial and operational information

Identify and facilitate business process and systems improvements to improve efficiency and effectiveness

Communicate with and support business partners within finance, merchandising, inventory management

Review and audit outsourced data and functions

Assist with internal and external audit requirements

Lead ad hoc projects as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required, MBA, MAcc, and/or CPA is a plus

Minimum 5 years as a senior accountant or accounting manager

Pubic accounting experience preferred; big 4 a plus

Expert knowledge and proficiency with MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Access and a robust ERP with experience in creating specialized ad hoc reports

Extremely strong customer service orientation with the desire to work in a very fast-paced and dynamic environment

Effective interpersonal and organization skills

Excellent discretion, judgment, tact and diplomacy

Demonstrated ability to learn new computer programs quickly

Must demonstrate an energetic, positive, helpful demeanor and a passion and interest in LS&Co.
