We are looking for a passionate and action oriented Agile Portfolio Lead. You will work closely with HR Tech leaders and eHR Agile teams, while partnering with Agile coaches across the organization to drive strategy and transformation of the HR Tech Portfolio. You will be expected to facilitate the continued adoption, delivery improvement and maturation of Agile practices.If you are passionate about Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), understand Agile best practices, comfortable with autonomously leading a matrix team into Agile maturity, an Agile purist at heart but a realist in implementing it this is the perfect opportunity for you! Solid understanding of agile best practices, roles and responsibilities including Product Manager, Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Release Train Engineer.
Lead a heavily matrix and geographically dispersed team of Scrum Masters.
Identify root causes that impede the flow of work and clearly articulate the impacts of the root causes to leaders.
Teach/Mentor/Coach teams and leaders on SAFE practices, roles, artifacts and ceremonies.
Partners cross-functionally with stakeholders to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive product delivery
Agile coach for consultation, education and mentorship for key delivery roles in a multi-team environment as well as executive/senior leadership team
Develops process, documentation and communication approach for technology/product intake from all stakeholders
Owns portfolio ideation backlog, ensuring clear articulation of intent/problem statement/outcomes
Owns impact assessment process, including risk assessment, architecture considerations, T-shirt sizing
Drives process for prioritization of work across the HR portfolio
Creates visibility to commitments & performance metrics
Drives awareness and ownership of key risks, issues and impediments related to the portfolio roadmap
Manages integrated portfolio roadmap, stakeholder communication and escalation of issues
Builds relationships and collaborates with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments
Uses horizontal visibility to help ensure roadmap outcomes align to overall HR strategy
Manage executive team communications within the Agile framework, including status reports to all stakeholders
Manage portfolio S2 and S3.
Build clear program level dependencies across mobile, technology and business teams for successful release of the product / platform.
Identify opportunities for continuous operational and/or team improvements.
Exhibit outstanding influencing skills to effectively drive process implementation, standardization and simplification.
Articulate in communicating and form an excellent partnership with key stakeholders and customers at all levels (SA to VP) to manage, inform and influence outcomes.
At least 5 years of experience as an Agile Delivery Lead (Portfolio Coach/Lead, Agile Coach, Agile Program Manager, Product Manager) for a software development team
At least 5 years of experience with Project Management
At least 1 year of experience with People Management
10 years of experience in Project Management.
3 years of experience in People Management.
1 year of experience in product prioritization and working with product teams in an Agile environment.
1 year of experience with delivery tools including Jira, Jira Align, Confluence
1 year of experience configuring the JIRA project management tool
PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
