Be a part of a team of Quality Engineers at the Glendale, AZ site that applies its expertise and knowledge in finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve quality output and continuous improvements. You will drive process initiatives that ensures compliance with customer requirements, regulatory agencies, government regulations and engineering specifications while instilling site accountability for governance of the Quality System, product acceptance and, product quality.
Solve problems where analysis of a situation is required in order to meet the requirements of the customer.
Uses problem analysis to proactively identify quality process solutions.
Provide analysis of data in support of quality and process improvements.
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a technical discipline.
10 years applicable engineering, manufacturing and/or quality systems experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
US citizenship is required, no dual citizenship due to contractual requirements.
Experience within an engineering/electrical/mechanical production environment and related
Current or prior quality experience within Aerospace/Space environment.
Proficiency with Quality Systems/AS9100.
Regulatory understanding (i.e. J-STD-001ES, NASA, IPC, MIL-STDs).
Greenbelt/Blackbelt/Lean Certification or ability to achieve within 12 months.
Hands on work ethic and team-oriented mindset.
Clear and concise communications.
Proficient computer skills.
Working knowledge of SAP/HOS.
Proficiency in problem solving, cause chain/corrective action analysis and mistake proofing.
Adept in soliciting facts and opinions from all team members and creating a constructive and open environment for sharing data.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to lead and work in cross-functional teams.
Understanding of quality and manufacturing processes.
Proficient project management skills.
