Join Cherry Bekaert as our new Strategic Alliances Director and lead collaboration and business performance execution with independent software vendors (ISV’s), affiliates, and other alliance partners’ sales leadership and professional staff to improve Cherry Bekaert’s market position and expand new business growth.This role will identify digital solutions driving sales opportunities and nurture leads in our key industry niches of health & life sciences, real estate, industrial, professional services, private equity and public sector through a variety of channels.


Reporting to the Chief Business Development Officer, this individual will establish new firm revenue growth through our existing ISV alliance partnerships with Tableau, Alteryx, FiveTran, Microsoft and Nintex. We are seeking a self-starter consistently focused on achieving aggressive growth and revenue goals.


Responsibilities:



  • Coordinates and optimizes other third-party affiliate relationships to enhance our go to market strategy

  • Creates and manages a mutually beneficial relationship with alliance partners and other affiliates focused on generating and closing pipeline opportunities bi-directionally

  • Leads and inspires team to achieve sales and growth goals, creating an environment that builds a passion for excellence

  • Proactively communicates relevant information in a respectful and thoughtful manner in order for an issue or concern to be addressed appropriately

  • Keeps audience focused on the big picture while not losing sight of details and supporting ideas

  • Engages with marketing and internal team members to achieve best outcome for Firm and clients

  • Uses understanding of client needs to proactively advise and/or engage client in the development of appropriate solutions

  • Acts as a business partner in order to proactively propose innovative and creative solutions to address and solve potential issues

  • Demonstrates a thoughtful, inclusive, and genuine approach to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options and opinions in complex situations

  • Consistently considers both the long- and short-term impacts when making decisions

  • Translates knowledge about the Firm and marketing tools to provide guidance in strategic marketing programs


Requirements:



  • Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years of sales leadership in a B2B or professional services environment

  • Experience in specific niche services geared towards consulting within a channel/alliance partnership with a digital consulting focus highly preferred

  • Experience with attending industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and engage with executive leader

  • Familiarity with research tools (such as ZoomInfo) and strategies used in building strategic targets

  • Experience with managing a sales team to effectively canvas, cold calland network to meet goals within a territory and identified alliance and direct channel partnerships

  • In-depth understanding of accounting and consulting services or strong level of niche offering related to specific alliance offerings

  • Comprehensive understanding of the direct impacts and offerings of niche alliance/channel relationship and how it directly parallels Cherry Bekaert solutions

  • Strong written oral communication and presentation skills

  • Extensive familiarity with leading proposal responses and content positioning and strategy

  • Excellent technology skills with solid experience in Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook. Advanced Excel skills preferred. Experience tracking leads and activity in a CRM system (MS Dynamics preferred)

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and new business initiation goals

  • Ability to effectively and efficiently prioritize and respond to inquiries from clients, co-workers, supervisor, and/or management

  • Excellent listening and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills

  • Ability to travel up to 70%
