Partner Service Delivery (PSD) is a global organisation of 250 people focused on the proactive and reactive provision of services and support to the SAP ecosystem of 20,000 partners. Our engagement with partners is across their entire lifecycle with SAP. Our team also provides a full suite of Partner Management services to a significant majority of the ecosystem, including Resellers, Systems Integrators, Software Partners etc. The team has 6 regional centres which work with partners and local SAP stakeholders at a Market Unit and Regional level to help partners to grow their business with SAP. The company is now embarking on Next Gen Partnering - which will position SAP at the forefront of the doubling of the partner economy/opportunity over the next 4 years. Critical to our success will be the positive experience of the partner when working with SAP and PSD will play a key role in improving the partner experience across their interaction with the company. Currently we have 2 main roles in the team:

1. Partner Services Advisor: Each PSA is assigned partners with whom they build a dedicated relationship. They work closely with other SAP resources to optimise the capabilities of the partners – the role is predominantly proactive to partners.

2. Partner Support Representative: PSRs providing operational and program support to partners and other partner-facing teams within SAP.

PSD is seeking a Strategy and Program Management Global Lead to work alongside the PSD Global Head in developing the strategy of PSD in support of Next Gen Partnering, while also overseeing the day to day operations of the team.The successful candidate will report to the Global Head of PSD (based in Ireland).

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:

Innovate and drive the strategy of the PSD business to support enhanced engagement with our partners and SAP colleagues, with a particular emphasis on the measurable improvement of the overall partner experience while working with SAP

Support the PSD Global Head in developing the team strategy and execution planning in alignment with the GPO Next Generation Partnering initiative

Responsible for successful operational support to the PSD organisation and key stakeholders from an infrastructure, processes, and analytics perspective.

Manage the day to day interaction with a range of global SAP teams who rely on PSD to provide services, support and partner coverage to achieve their business goals.

Support the PSD team in the digitalisation of partner support while ensuring a strong partner experience

Ensure full alignment with fellow PSD Core leaders to maintain consistency of standards and procedures globally in PSD

Drive and implement Employee End to End (E2E) Experience program across PSD

Innovate on PSD Next Generation processes and infrastructure – develop strong relationships with and influence the development of the SAP IT Roadmap to ensure optimal support for partners and the team.

Manage PSD P&L efficiencies and productivity

Create and own Next Gen PSD E2E Analytics

WORK EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

MBA or business experience equivalent

Business/IT Degree or equivalent

Minimum 15 years of professional experience in the IT/Software or related industries in leadership roles

Demonstrable experience in creating and leading a high performing team in a matrixed environment

Strong leadership coaching experience

Demonstrable success in the innovation and implementation of new business models and practices

Project management experience across multiple geographies

Managed internal stakeholder alignment at an executive level with clear success at influencing and relationship building

Significant experience in a Partner/ Field environment

Clear understanding of partnership management practices in IT/Software space

Thorough knowledge of driving business through a multi-faceted partner/channel model

Strong analytical competency and experienced in dashboard development and management to monitor and drive business performance and support decision makers

Strategic leadership skills – experience of successfully driving business transformation while motivating people to succeed, preferably across multiple cultures and locations.

Familiarity with SAP Partner Environment & SAP Field organization ideally combined with knowledge of SAP portfolio and partner business

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

Strong influencing and matrix management skills both of teams and within teams.

Skilled in business communication at executive level with strong and demonstrable influencing and negotiation skills

Financial acumen required to manage the day to day P&L activities of the team as well as productivity and capacity planning

Customer/Partner engagement skills with demonstrable experience

Strong leadership coaching skills
