Oversee media strategy and ensure a best in class work product supporting Merkle’s People-Based Media value proposition.

Standardize briefing, planning & optimization processes applying Merkle’s proprietary 3D-Planning approach. Our processes include traditional and newer tools that allow us to leverage first party crm data throughout the process.

Support SVP Media Operations in recruiting, hiring, and career-pathing of next-generation media leaders.

Act as Media SME in new pitches and for current clients

Contribute to product and capability development, as well as overall value proposition and acquisition strategy.

Develop unique media solutions jointly with key media partners.

Work with Dentsu media leadership teams to incorporate best practices and leverage scale across the network

Develop a team of sub-capability leaders in Programmatic and Social

Qualifications:

15+ years' of experience in the digital media agencies, with a focus on media planning & buying

Experience managing teams of minimum 50+ individuals in multiple locations

Data driven, performance media experience is required

Programmatic, paid social and direct publisher planning and buying experience required.

An entrepreneurial spirit, desire to "change the game", a self-starter, and thinks outside of the box

Works effectively in a fast-paced, energetic team environment

Willingness to travel 30-40%
