As a Regional Talent Management Specialist, the impact of your role is felt across the entire Bank in supporting the Career development of Bank staff.

Talent and Career Management

At DBS, we have over the years put in place a robust framework for Talent Identification using the 3P framework and Talent and Career Development under the Triple E framework (Education, Exposure, Experience).

The Talent Management Team supports the process of Talent Identification to leadership development and Succession Planning for the Talent Cohort. This includes refining talent management practices and sustaining the leadership pipeline, identifying developmental and deployment opportunities for leaders and talents, managing the leadership assessment process, supporting the platforms to enable mobility and mining of Talent to fill senior leadership positions. Being a data driven organization, talent analytics would be a key pillar that would be leveraged.

To succeed at this role, you need to possess the following:

Good grasp of talent & career management tools and methodologies and knowledge of best practices

Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)

Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to work with all levels of staff, across BUSUs and geographies

Good project management & organization skills, ensuring successful project delivery within timelines and with outstanding quality

Proactive, good problem solver with ability to work both independently and be an effective team player

Strong career coaching skills

Proficient in O365 tools and Microsoft tools like Powerpoint & Excel

To excel in this role, you need to have clarity in thinking and strength in execution, passionate about lifelong learning and continuous improvement, resilience in dealing with ambiguity of situations and high emotional intelligence.

What you will be doing:

You will be responsible for the following:-

Case manage the Talent Cohort, actively engaging them and facilitating their development;

Manage the Management Internship Program; facilitating their development during their stint and assessing their performance for selection decision in collaboration with TAG and Innovation;

Design and develop suite of Career Management tools and resources to facilitate mobility and career progression of all bank staff

Design, develop and update the contents for the Bank’s Career Management portal, iGROW, and launch initiatives to drive traffic and utilization of the portal region-wide

Roll out campaigns and events (eg e-Mentor community of practice and others) to promote internal mobility and align regional implementation

Partner TAG to ensure alignment of messaging and content of all Internal Mobility (IM) campaigns

Track Talent and Internal Mobility statistics on a monthly basis for dissemination to BHR/CHR

Co-ordinate the annual MD Promotion Exercise in collaboration with the TM lead and BHRs
