BAE Systems, Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA) Business Area, is seeking a candidate for Systems IV&V Lead role in our Huntsville Alabama (HAL) location with experience in systems level test development, implementation, and execution. The candidate will possess an understanding of Systems Engineering process and product lifecycle and may lead a small engineering team(s) working on state of the art Threat Detection Systems. The successful candidate will provide support to Systems Engineering oversight, schedule & resources planning and risk evaluation for a combination of Development, Production, and Sustainment activities using established measurement processes.

The role encompasses the following:

Supports technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, evaluates alternatives including cost, risk, supportability and analyses for total systems

Perform lab execution, integration, and analysis of product and data

Perform system level integration and test of systems or subsystems

Provides monitoring of and representation of system level test requirements & needs and manages requirements compliance assessment at the system level

Supports system requirements, management, traceability, verification and validation on Test Stations and In-Process product changes

This Huntsville Systems Engineering role provides access to technology, engineering, and program team members that educate and mentor the candidate to successfully deliver product to the program.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science and 8+ years of relevant work experience or equivalent experience

Active Secret clearance required

Experience with integration and test

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Familiarity with lab test equipment (power supplies, signal generators, oscilloscopes)

Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and other engineering disciplines 

Must have experience as a systems engineer or lead testing role in other engineering disciplines

Must be self-motivated and detail-oriented

Must be able to track progress on team tasks and report progress to program team

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Experience with Field or Flight testing

Experience with writing and maintaining requirements using DOORS

Exposure to planning, conducting or contributing to FRACAS Events and resulting trade studies

Exposure to technical performance measurements

Exposure to Model Based Systems Engineering
