Minimum qualifications:


 


Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.


8 years of relevant experience in technology and/or marketing.


5 years of experience with Google Ads and/or product marketing.


Preferred qualifications:


 


Deep understanding of digital marketing from a practitioner’s point of view.


Demonstrated ability to take on highly strategic and difficult business problems.


Ability to organize content and set direction in the face of ambiguity.


Ability to work in a highly cross-functional environment to drive stakeholder alignment and scaled communications.


Ability to manage multiple projects from inception to completion.


About the job


Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.


 


As a Team Lead for Google Ads Product Marketing, you’ll lead the team that will drive end-to-end strategy and execution for Google Ads products. This spans search ads, display ads and/or local advertising solutions. You’ll be a mentor, coach and creative leader that will guide a team of product marketing managers to excellence. Through creativity and a passion for Google’s advertising products, you’ll help shape the voice of the product, bring our innovations to life, and help businesses around the world grow to their full potential.

Responsibilities


Lead and mentor a high-performing team of product marketing managers to drive awareness and adoption of Google Advertising products.


Work directly with Product Managers and other cross-functional leaders to inform and shape the road map for future innovations.


Develop key messages and best practices that are impactful and easy to understand.


Lead branding and positioning initiatives to ensure Google Ads are positioned for success in the industry.


Build creative assets that will get published to the world in the form of blog posts, best practices content, videos, and event presentations that conveys the value of Google advertising products.
