Leading Information Technologies Company has an immediate/upcoming need for a Technical Director & Chief Engineer in Ft. Meade, MD or St. Louis, MO.
Leading Information Technologies Company is currently looking for a Technical Director on a 1,400+ FTE contract with an approximate value of $5B. This contract employs engineers and technicians across approximately 20 partner companies in the sustainment of a world-wide operation. The Technical Director will lead, coordinate, and synchronize all technical (Network Operations & Cybersecurity) activities across the task orders, mentor technical staff, and work with senior technical leaders on driving innovation into overall operations.
The Technical Director role will be responsible for setting the strategy and direction of all technical efforts as well as coordinating and synchronizing these efforts across the contract.
In these efforts this role will work with customers of various levels including SES, O-6/GS-15, and others, multiple task order Program Managers and technical leads, the Chief Architect, and the leadership to achieve success.
Will work with Government leadership and industry partners to help identify and drive innovative solutions resulting in overall improved performance and cost reductions
Bachelors degree and minimum 15 years of experience relevant Network Operations and Cyber Security.
Demonstrated experience providing strategic SME support in Cybersecurity & Network Operations.
Strong understanding of defensive cyber processes, methods, tools, capabilities, and network engineering.
Proven ability to translate technical details to senior leaders.
Ability to write and verbally communicate technical information and risk-related concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Must have strong problem-solving and analytical skills and demonstrate poise and ability to act calmly and competently in high-pressure, high-stress situations.
Must have experience to brief Senior or General Officer level customers.
Must have strong interpersonal and networking skills.
Must have demonstrated track record of competency with experience including cybersecurity, information security technologies, and IT.
US Citizenship with an active DOD Secret Security clearance is required.
Experience with ITIL, Systems Engineering, and DevOps processes/technics to include Network Operations, Cybersecurity, Cloud, and Software-Defined Network experience as a DoD and/or Intelligence Community employee or contractor.
Demonstrated use of analysis, design, development, and implementation of technical solutions.
Master or PHD degree in Engineering or related technical field.
