The Senior Technical Marketing Engineer (Senior TME) is a technologist who works as a part of the product marketing team reporting to the Head of Technical Marketing. The TME will work with a cross-functional team to ensure that the products that we bring to market are successful in a wide variety of customer engagements, be a technical expert, and have the ability to clearly articulate the technical differentiators of FireEye’s solutions.

You will work with our sales teams, and partners, develop technical competitive collateral, and be able to highlight FireEye’s technical capabilities. You must be a self-starter, with a willingness to execute independently, and help cross-functional teams.


Create competitive collateral, troubleshooting guides, evaluation guides, application notes, technical white papers, presentations, videos and demonstrations for our security solutions and products.

Perform market and technical competitive analysis.

Build and maintain a demonstration environment for our security solutions and products.

Support sales and marketing efforts as required. 

Some travel required to support field and marketing activity.

Support product launch activities and assist with Tradeshows, Conferences and Technical Sales Training or Channel Partner Training activities.

Respond to customer or field inquiries, assist with Technical RFPs and work with a cross-functional team of PMs, SEs, Engineers as required.



Extensive experience in security industry a must (5 years and above)

Must have prior experience delivering technical product training, producing technical collateral and customer presentations in a similar role.

Extensive experience with enterprise and service provider security products.

Natural leadership skills and the ability to work with all teams in the company.

BS/MS or equivalent experience required

10 % travel expected
