JOB DESCRIPTION:

The VP and CFO is a key member of the senior leadership team for OneCare Vermont (OneCare) and is responsible for the organizations financial reporting and control systems. The VP/CFO is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the following functions at OneCare: Accounting; Payroll; Accounts Payable; Budget; Analytics; and Contracting. The VP/CFO is accountable for leading efforts to achieve operational goals and successful financial performance for the ACO. They are responsible for GAAP reporting, ensuring the organization has adequate internal control systems, responding to internal and external audit reports and recommendations, coordination of audits, and for maintaining the organizations overall financial systems.


EDUCATION:


Required: Bachelor’s degree in health care, business, finance, or accounting.Master’s degree and CPA Preferred.


EXPERIENCE:


The incumbent should have five to ten years of health care financial management experience as CFO, Vice President/Controller, or finance director level. Experience managing the finances cycle for an ACO, insurer or hospital is preferred
