Due to the continued growth of our organization, Revantage Corporate Services is seeking a VP- Chief Data Officer to join our Technology Function.
Technology comprises a team of data professionals focused on delivering solutions to improve decision-making, optimize internal business processes, increase operational efficiency, and ultimately, transform data into actionable insights. In this role, you will report to the Chief Technology Officer. The VP- Chief Data Officer (CDO) will be instrumental for developing a firm-wide data management strategy, overseeing the development and deployment of the data and analytics platform, and establishing the enterprise operating model for Data and Analytics. The successful VP- CDO will lead inter-disciplinary teams to improve and streamline data systems, drive data-led insights for Blackstone and its real estate portfolio companies, and embed strong data and analytics culture across the organization.

As the VP- Chief Data Officer, one is held accountable to, but not limited to, the following job functions:
Oversee the Data and Analytics program, including data strategy, data governance, data management, and data science/analytics teams
define, manage and advance enterprise information management principles, policies and programs for stewardship, advocacy and custodianship of data and analytics.
Responsible for managing, allocating, and governing the annual budget for the office of the CDO.
Foster data-driven culture and the creation of related competencies and data literacy across the organization
Champion data and analytics value creation and governance as strategic disciplines
Chair data and analytics governance council to provide executive sponsorship for and oversight of governance policy creation and compliance
Expand Revantage’s analytic offerings to generate insights across Blackstone and its real estate portfolio companies
Identify new types and sources of data to enable business innovation and cross-asset class insights
Oversee the development and maintenance of a robust information trust model, controls for master data and metadata management, including reference data
Ensure business and dashboard reporting derived from controlled data are consistent and accurate
Lead regulatory and compliance programs related to data and analytics assets
Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Science, Economics, Accounting, Engineering or related field
15+ years of business experience, ideally in business management, legal, financial or information or IT management – recently at or near the executive level
Proven data literacy – the ability to describe use cases and outcomes, data sources and management concepts across business and technology domains
Deep experience in integrating complex, cross-corporate processes and information strategies, including technology planning and execution and policy development and maintenance
Demonstrated knowledge of real estate business processes and information needs, including risk and regulatory factors relating to information flows
Broad experience within Financial Services, Private Equity, and/or Real Estate industries
Broad experience in multiple competency areas of data and analytics delivery; examples are data warehousing, business intelligence (BI), data governance, data architecture, data integration, data classification, data strategy, data quality management, data security, and privacy, MDM, data standards, regulatory compliance and enterprise architecture frameworks
Demonstrated knowledge of the following: data structure, information systems/tools, related software and data management, enterprise content management, and record-keeping policies and practices in a complex organizational environment
