Job Details

The VP Global Marketing Solution Sales will be responsible for setting and executing the Salesforce.org strategy for our Marketing Solution Sales team in the Nonprofit and Education sectors in AMER and EMEA. This executive will assume leadership of a growing specialist sales organization, including first line managers, and account executives to help drive complex enterprise marketing technology opportunities.


Responsibilities:


Set and execute an aggressive customer acquisition strategy to generate annual growth in bookings for our marketing solutions, including Marketing Cloud & Pardot in the Nonprofit and Education sectors

Create and deliver the executive point of view for digital marketing and engagement transformation for Salesforce.org customers

Maintain key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding marketing and engagement solutions for Nonprofit and Education customers

Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting

Manage across regions with understanding of cultural differences

Manage the sales engagement process and the working relationship between the Specialists, Account Executives, Solution Engineers and Leadership teams

Set appropriate metrics for sales pipeline generation and sales funnel management

Plan and manage at the strategic, transactional and operational levels

Position the business to grow successfully beyond its current targets, year over year

Operate in a high-growth, fast paced environment

Add significant value to the overall sales leadership team

Demonstrate the Salesforce.org values of trust, customer success, innovation and equality


Required Skills/Experience:


2nd or 3rd line leadership experience leading teams in strategic and transactional sales

Strong track record of recruiting, developing and retaining a high performing enterprise sales organization

Consistent over-achievement of quota and revenue goals

10+ years in software and/or applications sales (ideally in MarTech, CRM, ERP and/or B2B SW company), selling primarily to the CxO level

Experience selling complex Marketing Technology solutions

Understanding and experience with the digital agency ecosystem

Proven track record of building satisfied, loyal and referenceable customers

Experience calling on C-­suite - aligning with regional executives, AEs, and internal leadership teams to present a single vision for our customers

Proven success working within a highly matrixed organization and establishing strong relationships across all functions

Strong operational and analytical abilities

Strategic sales experience and revenue achievement selling multiple enterprise software offerings

Bachelor degree strongly preferred

Passion for nonprofit and education organizations
