Leads in a matrix-ed organization, collaborates with system leaders, and participates in system-wide groups (leadership teams, sub-committees, and/or councils) to identify and develop the PHMG operational, financial, and clinical strategies.May chair or co-chair a sub-committee and/or council. 

Supports the goals and objectives of the PHMG Division Leads for Primary Care, Medical and Surgical specialties, by leading community/network caregivers to achieve desired clinical performance and patient experience outcomes.

Works closely with the VP/Medical Director, Division Chiefs, and leaders and caregivers to identify regional priorities, implement regional initiatives, and to lead and ensure seamless PHMG integration with the community and networks of care. 

Monitors and manages day-to-day operational performance, including the leadership of PHMG directors, managers and individual contributors. Fosters/ensures an environment of respect and collaboration. Inspires leaders and caregivers by interpreting mission and vision of PHMG. 

Is jointly accountable with their dyad partner for community/network clinical and operational performance, regional P&L, quality, patient satisfaction, provider and caregiver engagement and other relevant performance measures.

Understands caregivers needs for tools, technology and business intelligence.Acts as a spokesperson on behalf of community caregivers.Facilitates the effective implementation in the community of any advances in tools, technology or intelligence.

Engages and inspires caregivers in the region.Earns the support and trust of colleagues across all specialties.Integrates system-wide strategy with the network of care and the day-to-day realities of caregivers in the region.

Serves as a change agent in the development of a culture of compassion, safety, quality, performance and exceptional service.Seeks and insists upon a culture of measurable outcomes and accountability.

Maintains an awareness of federal, state and city regulations and accreditation standards to ensure compliance.Leads caregivers in assigned areas to comply with policy and regulatory measures.

Facilitates resolution of conflicts, grievances, or highly charged situations as needed.

Informs system acquisition and merger strategy.Leads the integration of acquired groups into the community.

Oversees the administration of the PHMG Uniform Provider Compensation Program for assigned communities as delegated by the Board Compensation Sub-Committee.Ensures, and is accountable for compliance with the PHMG Uniform Compensation Plan.

Qualifications


EDUCATION  

’s degree required.

’s degree required or a combination of education and professional experience that provides the caregiver with the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the job.

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING  

Minimum of 10 of progressive management experience is required in health care, to include a minimum of 3 progressive leadership experience in a large multi-specialty medical group.

Experience with successful implementation of evidence-based protocols into clinical practice.

Experience in multi-site, multi-specialty medical groups and integration delivery system.
