The Vice President Rural Process Manager is responsible for the development, management, and ongoing changes to the sales processes and supporting systems for the rural business within North America. As a member of the rural process board this person will be responsible for providing the subject matter expertise and management oversight needed to ensure proposed changes to processes are efficient for our employees, provide a positive customer experience, are designed effectively from an operational and risk perspective, and add value to the overall direct lending process.By doing so, this role is critical in the improvement of the customer experience, the Rural Brand and employee engagement.
This role will be responsible for working closely with the rural business risk function to implement changes required by 2nd and 3rd LOD findings, propose and align solutions across the territories with the GM’s and CRT Management, and own the implementation of the action plans.The solutions should be aligned with the principals of 1) Efficiency 2) Customer Service 3) Risk Management and 4) Value Add.
This role is accountable for the overall sales process, working across territories to bring consistency and promote adherence to established policy, processes, and procedures. They will work closely with the Business Readiness & Change Management function within CRT to ensure changes to processes and systems are coordinated and communicated consistently, and will work with L&D to ensure appropriate training programs are in place for CRT staff.
The VP – Rural Process Manager will be the business system owner for key CRT systems within the designated process area.This will include developing and leading product steering committees within CRT, and working with IT and the GMs to prioritize product enhancements and creation of product roadmaps to align with and support efficient employee and customer focused business processes.
This person will also be responsible for partnering across domains to drive rural priorities and be the subject matter expert in the designated process area for initiatives driven by other domains with impacts to rural processes.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Accountable for the design and effectiveness of the direct lending sales processes, resulting in a decrease in turnaround time, an improved customer experience, enhanced controls and increased employees satisfaction.
Owns the portfolio of change associated with sales processes and systems and works cross functionally to ensure change is implemented in a controlled manner.
Builds strong relationships with GM’s, CRT management, and business risk and works collaboratively to solve complex problems identified through the course of day to day business, operational risk findings, compliance reviews, and audit results.
Responsible for providing the business ownership of key CRT systems including prioritizing functionality requests and ensuring IT roadmaps meet the needs of the business.
Provides rural expertise on cross functional regional and global initiatives as assigned.
Proactively works to identify training needs and partners with L&D to provide content and expertise to strengthen training programs.
Responsible for ensuring CRT process and procedure documentation is kept up to date and reflects accurately what is occurring across the territories.
Builds strong inter-domain relationships to promote the collaborative rural culture.
Complete all mandatory training within a timely basis, as instructed.
Comply with code of conduct & Bank policies/procedures.
Actively identify incidents outside of established policies & procedures and report to management immediately.
Familiar with & comply with laws, regulations, and internal policies & procedures that are applicable to required job duties.
Understand & comply with all RAF & Rabobank anti-money laundering (AML), compliance, and all other applicable laws, including, but not limited to, the completion of all required AML & Sanctions training.

LEAN/Six Sigma Experience
Experience in writing policy/procedure
Project Management/Change Management Experience
Bachelor’s Degree, Masters preferred, with 7+ years of experience in agricultural lending or similar experience.
Must have the ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
Must possess good human relations, communication skills and have shown the ability to exercise sound judgment.
Must be comfortable working as both a member and leader of a team.
Must be able to work well under time constraints.
Must be organized, detail-oriented and have a strong desire to succeed.
