At DEFINITION 6 we’re plugged into change — across markets, industries, and technologies — and we’re on a mission to keep our clients ahead of the curve. Our powerhouse team is actively seeking a VP, Account Director in our PR Services division, to join our rapidly growing agency.

 

As a VP, Account Director, you will bring your relationships and knowledge of the public relations industry together to create compelling work for your clients. Not only will you partner with colleagues in the PR Services division to create and execute your clients’ vision; you’ll also collaborate with our Entertainment & Digital teams on integrated marketing campaigns.This is a tremendous opportunity to introduce your clients to an expanded scope of services at a truly one-of-a-kind agency.  

 

The ideal candidate will have a substantial client base, a proven track record and be located in Washington, D.C, Chicago or Atlanta (though we are open to other scenarios).

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leverage established client relationships to bring in work that generates revenue for the PR Services division

Create & execute work for clients through SMTs, RMTs, ANRs, PSAs, and video production

Manage the day-to-day relationships with clients to drive continued partnership & creation of new work

Drive revenue growth and profitability among client accounts to meet your revenue goals

Deliver strategic insights and effectively communicate actionable recommendations that are aligned to the client’s business and communications objectives

Craft RFPs and proposals

Create budget estimates

Create internal briefs outlining opportunities, detailed client profiles in order to align internal teams

 

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

10+ years of experience in media and client relations

Experience providing PR services such as SMTs, RMTs, ANRs, PSAs, and Video Production

Established client relationships that will allow you to generate revenue

Fluently speak the languages of PR, marketing, and business and be able to tailor those communications to audiences of all levels of expertise

Proven ability to work with multiple brands and/or clients across a diversity of industries
