The Vice President, Account Services owns all facets of managing Leading Advertising/PR/Marketing/Events Company’ Team “Headlight” which provides programmatic strategy, activation, and innovation for a leading auto manufacturer.Overseeing a team of Managers and Strategists, this senior level leader works across all levels of partner agency while building client relationships to deliver winning solutions that deepen relationships and drive the business forward. As a strategic thinker and thought leader, this person helps identify and refine not just processes at Leading Advertising/PR/Marketing/Events Company, but the overarching media and marketing strategies for the client. This person ensures the health and growth of agency and client relationships through three key avenues: an applied and thorough understanding of the automotive industry, the agency’s unique relationship with the client, a robust understanding of the programmatic space and an ability to deliver programmatic excellence; and the composition and professional development of his/her team.
Oversees all aspects of health for Headlight business including relationship health, campaign performance, billings, innovation, business strategy, and profitability.
Responsible for full ownership of P&L, including accurate forecasting, pipeline maintenance, budgeting, and cost control.
Owns VP/SVP/C-level relationships at the agency, coordinates with senior client leads at the agency to understand macro client concerns, identify business issues, and help sell in opportunities.
Evaluates and develops talent of his/her staff to deliver highest levels of service in a rapidly-adapting environment.
Mentors subordinate managers to help hone their leadership skills, providing opportunities to own and develop solutions that transcend their books of business.
Owns growth of the account, via partnership with agency by developing new programmatic strategies which drive client results.
Ensures standardization and consistency of offering, process adherence, and best practice application across all efforts.
Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years of relevant industry experience; MBA preferred.
5 years+ working on or for a US automotive brand.
3-5 years of managerial experience required, reflecting increasing managerial and fiduciary responsibilities.
Proven experience working with C-level agency/client counterparts at Fortune 500-level establishments for digital advertising efforts.
In-depth knowledge of DSP capabilities, programmatic execution, verification partners, and data partnerships.
Thorough knowledge of audience data that can be applied to media buying and audience targeting strategy.
Familiarity with advanced optimization strategies to deliver against performance KPIs and budget growth
Entrepreneurial attitude, with the ability to work independently, to foster new relationships, and to apply creative thinking and problem solving.
Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to understand and communicate complex technology and business concepts quickly to a variety of audiences
The ability to juggle multiple timelines, priorities and relationships.
