Complete assigned underwriting audits, including assembling a team of auditors, selecting files, conducting pre-audit meetings, lead audit wrap-up meetings, report writing, and post follow-up on management action plans.

Lead Management Audit Committee (MAC) preparation

Manage business unit Risk Registers and Business Compliance Plans

Assist Business Units with their Self Audit Program initiatives

Support North America Compliance initiatives including

o Compliance portion of Underwriting Audits

o Compliance Training

o NA Internal Audit/Compliance/Third Party reviews

o Assist with market conduct, data calls, and DOI complaints

Identify opportunities for efficiency and overall improvement

Support Business Unit leaders as needed

Technical Skills and 

Requirements


Bachelor’s degree

CPCU and/or MBA a plus

Insurance compliance knowledge/experience a plus

7 - 10 years of relevant underwriting experience, preferably in multiple lines of insurance

10 – 15% Travel

Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail

Strong problem solving skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment and make strong recommendations

Proficiency in end-user applications (e.g., Microsoft products – Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization

Ability to problem solve and work autonomously, to manage multiple projects, and to prioritize appropriately

Must demonstrate an orientation to results

Demonstrated integrity and dedication
