The position requires an accomplished security professional who is an experienced leader with sound knowledge of business management and a solid knowledge of information security technologies, techniques, and incident response practices. The role will actively work with business partners across the company to improve and drive consistency for the client experience of security, to improve transparency and facilitation of on-boarding activities, to increase opportunity for customer outreach and relationship building, to enhance security to security interaction with key customers, and to represent Equifax in industry forums and advisory boards that bring value to local business opportunities. S/he will also assist in defining and then oversee a variety of IT-related risk management activities. We need an experienced leader, a consensus builder, and an integrator of people and processes, and technical experience to drive security remediation activities.
Skills and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Risk Management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required
Minimum 6-10 years of information security experience
Strong social skills including strong verbal presentation skills. Able to present and communicate at all levels of the organization including executive and senior leadership
Demonstrable experience as Security leader able to interact successfully dealing directly at the trenches with Internal Business Leaders, Security Colleagues, Other Business Unit Leaders, Customers, and Third parties
Direct manger experience of small to medium-sized teams (current function
Viewed as an expert in information security with strong analytical skills who is able to interpret complex information and adapt as needed
Experience working in matrix environment with globally diverse team members.
Ability to network and influence internally
Ability to act as a spokesperson/single point of contact on behalf of Global Security to the Business and Customers.
Regularly makes decisions that is guided by policies, procedures and/or guidelines from which there is some discretion to depart
Strategic skills proving track record of ideation to true implementation
Demonstrable ability to manage a team of direct reports and operating budget
Executive presentation skills to produce and present investment business cases
Works under general supervision
CISSP, CISM or related certification
