Work closely with Casualty Leader and Claim Officers on processes which drive first in class technical claim handling within the Casualty Discipline;
Casualty point person with Quality Review team and Best Practices Guidelines/Questionnaires;
Develop alongside other Casualty Leaders metrics and leading indicators to measure technical results within Discipline and create/execute action plans as needed;
Manage Casualty wide communications on technical claim handling to ensure alignment, coordination and strategic messaging (important areas of focus, key process changes impacting the discipline)
Create consistency across the Discipline as respects practices and processes for early identification of severity files, trial preparation, recovery, Medicare, SIU and claim handling execution.
Work closely with Casualty Leader on utilization of analytics, process automation and improving efficiencies within the Discipline.Liaison with IT on technology related initiatives, issues or changes.
Align and produce Casualty wide reporting and presentations providing insight into trends, results and execution of key strategies, including oversight of Claim Trend Report submission.
Oversight of Disbursement Authorities.
Working closely with the Casualty Coverage Leader, review/responses to coverage issues/interpretations impacting across Discipline.Identify areas for training.
