Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Global Client Engagement (SVPGCE), the Vice President of Client Communications and Engagement is responsible for designing, developing and executing marketing programs in support of Rimini’s client success strategy. Client Success is our overall method to drive adoption, retention, expansion, and client advocacy.
The Vice President of Client Communications and Engagement will support the SVPGCE by driving the account-based mass communication strategies to help drive client engagement and awareness of Rimini services and solution. In collaboration with the corporate Marketing team led by the CMO, the Vice President will drive client campaigns and messaging, drive the client event strategy, report and manage key client awareness and marketing metrics, manage the Global Client Advisory Board, and assist the account managers in communication strategies.
The Vice President of Client Communications and Engagement is responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, and managing a team of communication, creative, and marketing professionals to aid in his or her duties. As with all of the leaders of Global Client Engagement, the measurement of success is the higher rates of client renewals, expansion within our existing client base, and client advocacy.
The Vice President of Client Communications and Engagement also serves as an executive sponsor for key accounts and may be asked to help with account manager as necessary to deepen client executive relationships.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Plan and execute end-to-end marketing engagement programs consisting of email, direct mail, website, and marketing collateral for existing clients to promote awareness and drive client engagement
Actively support the global brand strategy by ensuring all campaigns comply with the brand strategy and visual and verbal guidelines and policies.
Provide overall program strategy and guidance for clients to ensure a successful implementation of communication \ marketing strategies.
Help develop and maintain “Best Practices” documents and presentations that guide our account managers’ engagement clients.
Design and execute client emails campaigns, webinars, and newsletters.
Develop positive ongoing relationships with corporate marketing teams.
Manage vendors as needed to create marketing materials, videos, and emails.
Work with the account managers and corporate Marketing teams to capture and share client stories.
Coordinate the Global Client Advisory Board, including devising strategies to maximizing client engagement and input.
Support the client advocacy programs and strategies.
Continually monitor existing and potential competitor client marketing activities to identify new opportunities or highlight potential causes for business concern. Provide timely feedback and update and recommend strategies and solutions.
Work with corporate Marketing to manage the relationship with the creative and media agencies and third party suppliers, and manage their activities effectively ensuring efficient delivery of agreed client marketing plans.
Administration of the allocated budget to include monitoring, budget log management, variance analysis, liaison with finance and reporting of monthly budget forecasts
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business administration from an accredited university of college. A master’s degree is preferred.
Knowledge of the on premise and software as a service software market with 10 or more years in high tech marketing or client-relationship roles.
Five (5) years leading marketing functions serving enterprise-level clients.
Proven track record for building and developing high performing teams.
Demonstrated leadership experience and a passion for serving, learning, and mentoring.
Ability to work well in an open, collaborative team environment.
Demonstrate creativity by exploring new ways to engage and identify traditional mediums, as well as current trends to reach target audiences.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented and results-driven.
Proficiency with a variety of software tools and marketing platforms.
A strong portfolio of original writing, preferably both B2B and B2C.
