The VP, Human Resources Director is responsible for driving the strategic and tactical aspects of Human Resources for the organization. Particular focus will be on talent development, performance management, organizational/change management, employee relations and HR Administration. The role oversees a team of Human Resources professionals as well as all facets of Human Resources including talent acquisition, resource management, performance management, compensation, administration and policy.

Business Partnership

o Strategically partner with Managing Director to develop and implement HR strategies in support of business goals and objectives

o Identify opportunities to improve organization effectiveness and business results. Partner with Executive Leadership Team to define and implement optimal organization structures, systems, processes and alignment of people

o Ensure HR voice is appropriately represented in key business decisions


o Lead a team of experienced professionals. Create a sense of team and set direction for HR/Talent Acquisition/Resource Management community. Ensure strategic and synergistic communication and coordinate tasks and initiatives across HR team. Improve organizational, team and individual performance by effectively delivering HR services

o Provide challenging assignments, remove barriers, evaluate performance, provide frequent coaching, development and career discussions, and make salary recommendations for staff

o Partner with HR specialists, generalists and shared service centers within broader Publicis Health (PH) and Publicis Groupe to provide seamless support across the network

o Actively participate on PH HR Leadership Team. Sponsor key PH HR initiatives

Organization Development & Culture

o Create a high performing and inclusive work environment through the use of effective change management intervention techniques

o Build plan and tactics to improve culture/ work environment and increase employee engagement

o Facilitate internal communication processes and other employee feedback mechanisms

o Provide thought leadership and facilitate work streams associated with transformation of the business, including globalization of franchise and outsourcing projects

Talent Management

o Partner with PH Talent Management Leadership to develop, implement and actively manage Talent Review & Succession Planning Process

o Guide clients in the development and execution of strategies to ensure optimal talent development and movement within the organization

o Identify and help manage appropriate interventions to develop talent, e.g., executive coaching, on the job learning assignments, knowledge transfer opportunities, etc.;

o Partner with PH Talent Management Leadership to develop and implement retention strategies incorporating issues arising from organization surveys, evaluations, competitors’ analysis reports, best market retention practices, etc.;

o Facilitate team building sessions and coach/ mentor employees to effectively collaborate with one another

Performance Management

o Ensure performance management process is embedded throughout organization

o Partner with leadership to establish process for cascading and aligning PH and employee personal goals

o Actively coach management to prepare and deliver high quality performance discussions, provide feedback, and implement development actions to improve individual and team performance

o Proactively and expertly manage low performance and employee relations issues, leveraging legal counsel, where necessary
