Under the direction of ERM Management, the VP, Enterprise Risk Management is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the GRC based platform.The VP, Enterprise Risk Management will also assist Risk Assessment users throughout the company with questions, training and governance oversight in completing the assessments.Responsibilities also include, developing and tracking key performance metrics, preparing various reporting dashboards, gathering requirements, and organizing reporting for Sr. Management and the Board of Directors. 


Strategic


Contribute to the achievement of business unit goals and action plans to support the needs of a growth-oriented company

Contribute to the efforts in ensuring an effective, consistent, and best practice ERM program is in place

Contribute to the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of the GRC tool across multiple modules

Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot databases related to the GRC tool

Develop and maintain dashboard reporting for the company

Foster an environment to help drive a risk aware culture across the organization


Operational


Develop, implement, and maintain the GRC platform under direction of ERM management

Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot dashboard reporting through the GRC platform using SQL, SAP, SSRS, and Tableau

Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot SQL databases and complex queries

Document and manage user rights and governance oversight of the GRC platform

Develop positive working relationships with the IT team for maintenance, upgrades, and migrations of the GRC platform

Develop positive working relationships with divisional SPOCs to provide an open forum for collaboration to ensure risks are appropriately identified, mitigated, and remediated

Work with ERM management to develop and update specific models and metrics for measuring appropriate enterprise-level risks

Assist in the development and maintenance of technical business requirements for the ERM program

Assist users by answering technical questions and resolving any issues

Contribute to ERM policy and procedure discussions

Take a lead role in developing procedures to document PennyMac’s evolving GRC processes

Develop and produce reporting on the effectiveness of PennyMac’s risk and control environment

Develop and produce monthly ERM status and exception reporting for executive management

Maintain awareness of impactful changes within PennyMac’s businesses, new and/or updated regulatory laws and best in practice governance processes within the industry

Other


Complete special assignments necessary to support business strategies

Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting

Fulfill on role-based personal skill and professional development requirements

Ideal Candidate will have the following:

Technical


Advanced SQL, database, and server experience is required


Highly proficient in Excel; experience with macros and VBA


Familiarity with basic statistics


Broad understanding of technology’s strategic role and impact


GRC experience is a plus


Snowflake experience is a plus


Business Objects and SSRS reporting experience is a preferred


Technology, Finance or Economics background preferred


Familiarity with COSO-based risk assessment, mortgage banking, and mortgage related regulatory requirements is a plus
